How We Rate Our Poker Sites

While reviewing and rating an online poker site we at Tight Poker consider a variety of criteria; such as bonus options, game variety, deposit and withdrawal options, tournament offerings, payout speed, customer support, mobile capabilities, safety and security. By considering these, our goal is to help online poker players make more informed decisions about which site is best suited for their needs and playing style.

Overview

Everygame is the rebrand of the classic online betting site Intertops, whose roots can be traced back to the very beginning of online gambling. Starting in 1983, Intertops operated as a telephone-based sportsbook for the first 13 years of its existence before becoming one of the very first online gambling sites in 1996.

Despite its storied history as the first-ever online bookmaker, only a few people are as familiar with the Everygame brand as they should be. Moreover, they’re probably unaware that they even have a poker client! However, the brand is making significant strides within the industry and should be considered a viable option when choosing a new real money poker site. As such, I’ve taken it upon myself to sign up for Everygame Poker to see if they really should be considered alongside the other well-known brands in the industry.

I tried each available game type, from cash games, to sit and gos, and to tournaments to get a complete idea of how good the games are. I also looked at other essential aspects of a good poker room, such as mobile gaming options, customer support team, bonuses, and promotions.

Using my decade of experience in the industry, I collected all the data and formed my opinion on the site. This review outlines exactly what I think, so if you’re considering playing on Everygame Poker, it’s well worth a read.

Everygame

Pros and Cons

With decades of experience as the Intertops brand, Everygame Poker does plenty of things right. Unfortunately, it also has a few things it could do better. Below I’ve highlighted what they do well, as well as any downsides you need to be aware of when considering Everygame Poker.

Pros

  • Experienced Brand
  • Great Welcome Bonus
  • Market Leading Rakeback
  • Soft Games
  • Bubble Protection

Cons

  • Low Traffic
  • Limited Game Types
  • Small Tournament Guarantees

POKER GAME SELECTION

As mentioned in the pros and cons section, the only 3 poker variants that Everygame offers are Hold ’em, Omaha, and Omaha Hi-Lo. Each game has fixed limit, pot limit, and no-limit tables. However, you’ll find that the Hold ’em tables are mostly no limit, and the Omaha/Omaha Hi-Lo tables are mostly pot limit.

What’s it Like to Play?

While the online poker world has been through many changes over the years, one thing that seems to have remained the same is the Everygame poker client. It has a distinct old-school feel, that might seem charming to those of us who were playing poker over 10 years ago but will feel outdated to the more modern players.

Everygame Poker Lobby

That’s not to say that it’s not usable; in fact, the lobby is perfectly competent – it just lacks the sleekness that a modern poker client offers. The same can be said for the table layout – the large colorful buttons look garish compared to the smaller, more subtle designs of other sites. However, there are a range of customizable themes available in the poker client, allowing you to change the table to best suit your needs.

Web Version vs Poker Client

Like many modern poker sites, you can choose to enjoy the range of Everygame poker options through your web browser or by downloading their dedicated client. However, most sites uphold a certain level of quality across their platforms, but the same cannot be said for Everygame.

Web Client

If you choose to play on this site, we highly recommend downloading and using the poker client. If the poker client looks old-school, the web client is prehistoric! There are no options to change your position at the table, you cannot customize the table layout, in fact, the only thing you can change is whether or not you want a four-colored deck! Other than that, you’re stuck with your table how it is, whether you like it or not.

Everygame Web Client

It’s not just the tables that need modernizing, the web client lobby is in desperate need of a makeover! The layout of the lobby is extremely unappealing, with a big wall of grey displaying the tables, and the game filters tucked away on the right-hand side of the screen. Making these filters more prominent and adding a splash of color would certainly help the aesthetics of the site and would make it easier to navigate.

Everygame Web Client Lobby

Desktop Client

When compared to the web client, the desktop client is certainly an improvement, but there are still a lot of improvements that could be made. Again, the client does look outdated, but it’s easier to navigate than the web app and has a lot more color in the middle of the screen. You also get access to a wider range of options, which we will show you below.

Everygame Desk Client

These options include things that were sorely missing from the web client, such as audio options, gameplay options, and table themes. In fact, we’d advise any new player to take a trip to the options page before playing, as you’ll want to enable “Always auto post blinds” and “Always wait for the big blind” before you start playing – we’re not sure why these wouldn’t be enabled from the start!

Despite having more options than the web client, there are still a number of features missing from the desktop settings. There is no way to edit your bet buttons, meaning you’re stuck with the default ½ pot, ⅔ pot, pot, and all-in. There’s also no way to remove the casino games bar from the top of the table, which takes up valuable real estate on an already crowded table.

Speaking of the tables, the layout is very old school; everything from the cards to the chips to the table would be considered retro these days! Again, this may be appealing to some, but it’s going to turn off others, as many players are used to a certain standard of software that Everygame Poker just doesn’t seem to provide.

Everygame Desktop Poker Tables

It’s not just the visuals that are stuck in the last century – there are plenty of features missing that you will have grown used to playing on more modern sites. For starters, if you don’t enable the “Always auto post blinds” and “Always wait for the big blind” options before you sit down, you’re going to be constantly asked to post your blinds – which is a pain.

You’ll find that there is no “sit out on next big blind” option, so cash game players are going to have to time their exits from the table. You’re also not automatically seated when you open up a cash game table, so if you’re not quick on the trigger, you could lose your seat to someone else.

While many of these are superficial issues, and truth be told you do get used to the outdated design once you start playing more often, they will put a lot of players off. If you can push through these issues, there is a good poker site in here – even if it needs to be brought into the 21st century!

The Best Features of Everygame

Despite the glaring issues, there are still plenty of fun features that make it enjoyable to play at Everygame Poker. Let’s take a look at some of the features they offer.

  • Hand Strength – A great feature for beginners, when enabled, this will display your hand strength at the beginning of each street, so you know exactly what hand you have.
  • Stack in BB – Many players agree that seeing your stack in BB is the superior way to play. By displaying your chip stack in BB, you don’t have to do complicated math when getting deep in a tournament, and you don’t have to see the real dollar value of bluffing all-in in a cash game.
  • Graphics Options – Depending on the graphical capabilities of your computer, you can select three different graphics settings. The higher the settings, the better quality animations and design you’ll see on the table.
  • Four-colored Deck – A modern inclusion to many poker sites is the four-colored deck. This turns diamonds blue and clubs green, making it much easier to spot possible flushes.
  • Customizable Themes – Everygame Poker has six default themes you can choose from, but if you’re not happy with how they look, you can customize them to suit your needs. You can change things such as the felt color, the carpet color, the back of the card, and the face of the card.

What Everygame is Missing

However, there are a number of features that are missing from Everygame Poker that, if implemented, would elevate it to the next level. Let’s take a look at what those are.

  • Graphical Update – There’s no denying that Everygame Poker’s design is not up to the standard of a modern poker client. Whether it’s deliberately trying to evoke a retro look or it just hasn’t changed for 10+ years, we think it needs an update.
  • Editing Bet Buttons – One of the biggest issues you’ll find if you want to put in some serious hours at Everygame is the inability to edit your bet buttons. Editing these buttons makes multi-tabling much easier, and having to manually enter your bet each time is incredibly time-consuming.
  • Modern Web Client – The Everygame Poker web client is in desperate need of an upgrade. The layout is unwelcoming and unintuitive and will have likely put off a number of prospective customers. If you choose Everygame Poker as your poker site, avoid the web client at all costs.
  • QOL Features – There are a number of small features that would make grinding on Everygame Poker a more enjoyable experience. Things like having a “sit out on the next big blind” or “sit out and close table” will make things easier for multi-tablers, as automatically seating them at a cash table. We’d also like to see an improved “tile tables” option, as the default size is far too small for any modern computer monitor.

BONUS AND PROMOTIONS

Every player likes to make their money go as far as it can which is why everyone loves a bonus offer. In fact, there are a large number of people that choose a poker site purely based on their bonus offers and promotions! While it may not be the most important thing to consider, it’s definitely up there; these are the bonuses and promotions currently being offered by Everygame Poker.

WELCOME BONUS

Everygame offers one of, if not the, best welcome bonuses in the current online poker scene, a 200% matched deposit bonus of up to $1000. As someone who always takes the welcome offer, this is easily the best one I’ve come across. You’re lucky to see a 100% matched deposit bonus, let alone 200%! This offer is perfect for players who don’t have a big bankroll but want to make the most of the money they’re depositing. As well as your matched dollars, you’re also given 25 free casino spins. To activate the offer, use the bonus code 1000EGP when making your first deposit.

To release the bonus, you’ll need to collect Frequent Player Points (FPPs) by playing real money poker games. The bonus is released at a rate of $5 per 83.335 FPPs, with 7 FPPs earned for every $1 raked. The good news is that you have three months to release your bonus from the first day it’s activated, so there’s plenty of time to hit the tables and earn the points you need.

NO DEPOSIT BONUSES

As well as the generous 36% daily rakeback that Everygame Poker offers, they also run a gold chip program, where players earn gold chips by collecting FPPs. The FPPs automatically turn into gold chips once you collect 100, meaning it takes around $13 of rake per gold chip. So what can you do with these gold chips once you’ve gathered a bunch?

One of the most popular things you can get with them is a no-deposit bonus. Simply cash in your gold chips by contacting the support team at poker@everygame.eu with the subject line “Gold Chips $x Bonus,” where “x” is the bonus amount you’d like to receive. There are three different bonus amounts you can choose from:

  • $5 for 20 Gold Chips
  • $25 for 100 Gold Chips
  • $100 for 400 Gold Chips

These bonuses are paid in $5 increments after meeting the FPP requirements. To release a $5 increment, you need to collect 83.335 FPPs.

RELOAD BONUSES

Players are given reload bonuses through the poker newsletter every now and again. To be eligible for these bonuses, you must have a valid email address registered to your account, otherwise, you’ll miss out on some great offers. When I sign up, I always add my email address to take advantage of offers like these.

To claim your bonus, just click the “Bonus Code” button when making your deposit, enter the bonus code, then click “Redeem Bonus.” If done correctly, the bonus will be immediately available on your account. However, remember that the bonus code expires 30 days after usage, even if you haven’t cleared the full bonus – so be sure to stay on top of it.

FPP RACE

There is a weekly FPP race for the high-volume grinders where players can win a share of a $4000 prize pool. With a top prize of $400, plus the rakeback you would have received during the week, there’s a lot of incentive to play as much as you can and earn those FPPs. However, even if you don’t claim the top spot, there are still lots of prizes to be won that are well worth competing for.

Deposit and Withdrawal Options

Everygame Poker has a wide range of deposit and withdrawal options to suit your needs. So whether you’re a hip, young, crypto-kid who only deals in bitcoin or an old-school gambler who doesn’t trust anything that isn’t a wire transfer, Everygame has an option for you. Not only does it have crypto options and traditional bank transfers, but Everygame also allows players to use eWallets such as Skrill and Neteller and credit/debit cards like Visa or Mastercard.

However, your choice may be influenced by the time it takes to deposit to/withdraw from the site. After making a deposit to an online poker site, you’ll want to start playing straight away. Still, some of the options at Everygame have a significant delay before you can use them on their site.

It’s a similar story with the withdrawal options–some will be in your account within a matter of hours, but some can take a couple of weeks. I found that modern options like e-wallets and crypto had the fastest deposit/withdrawal times, so if speed is vital for you, I’d recommend using those.

Deposit

Deposit Method Min Deposit Max Deposit Time
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover $0 $1000 Immediate
BTC, BCH, LTC $25 $2500 Up To 10 Minutes
Skrill, Neteller $20 $5000 Immediate
EcoPayz $10 $5000 Immediate
PaySafe €5 €100 Immediate
Bank Transfer $0 No Limit 2-3 Working Days
EZeeWallet €10 €2500 Immediate
Money Global $100 $490 1-24 Hours

One of the great things about depositing your money to Everygame Poker is that virtually all payment methods come without fees! The only exceptions are bank transfers and Money Global–both having variable fees depending on the bank and the amount of money transferred.

Withdrawal

Method Min Withdrawal Max Withdrawal Frequency Time
BTC, BCH, LTC $100 $2500 Maximum $2500 per week 48 Hours
Bank Wire $150 $2500 Maximum $2500 per week 10-15 Business Days
Check $150 $3000 Maximum $3000 per week 5 Business Days
Neteller, Skrill, EcoPayz $25 $2500 No Limit 48 Hours
Player Transfer $20 No Limit No Limit Immediately
Bank Transfer €10 €5000 Maximum E5000 per week 2-4 Business Days

As with all poker sites, there’s a lot of variation in the amount of time it takes to withdraw money from the site. The more modern methods, such as cryptocurrency and eWallets, are often the quickest, with old-fashioned methods, such as bank wires and checks, taking a lot longer. The more modern methods are also the ones that come without fees, making them the far superior option.

The two payment methods that will charge you withdrawal fees are checks and bank wires. If you request your money by check, it will cost you $50; if you request a bank wire, you will also face a $50 fee and any bank fees you may incur.

MOBILE GAMING

Suppose you’re one of those people who are always on the go and don’t have time to sit at a computer and play poker all evening. In that case, Everygame Poker is available on a laptop, tablet, or mobile device. So whether you’re using an Android or Apple device, just load up the website on your phone, log in, and start playing–no downloads necessary!

Whether you want to play cash games, sit and gos, or tournaments, the full functionality of the desktop software is available through the mobile site with their Instant Play format. You get the game choices and the same filtering options, and the site layout is incredibly easy to navigate.

I found the site very well optimized for mobile devices as it runs smoothly on whichever OS your mobile device uses. In fact, it runs so smoothly that I ended up using it as much, if not more, than the desktop client!

CUSTOMER SERVICE OPTIONS

As you would imagine, for a company that’s been around as long as Everygame has, the operator knows how to look after its customers. The customer service team is available 24/7 and offers a live text chat with a representative or dedicated email addresses depending on the nature of your query.

I used the live chat function whenever I needed help, as it’s the most convenient for day-to-day questions, with fast response times and helpful staff members. If you prefer to speak to someone on the phone, there are several numbers to choose from, depending on your region. There is also an FAQ section on the site, but the main focus is on playing poker rather than the general use of the site, and I didn’t find it particularly helpful.

Live Chat: Chat with a customer service representative by clicking the “live chat” icon on the Everygame contact details page.

WHAT MAKES THIS POKER SITE UNIQUE

The unique selling point of Everygame is definitely the experience it brings to the, ahem, table. Everygame existed as a betting company for over a decade before online gambling even existed, so it knows how to look after its customers and adapt to a changing marketplace. Of course, any company that has survived this long must be doing something right. By constantly listening to customer feedback and shaping its product to best suit people’s needs, Everygame Poker ensures that it stays ahead of the game.

My Final Thoughts

With a site operating as long as Everygame, there’s much to cover! For starters, it’s clear to see how they’ve managed to stick around, as there are a lot of fantastic features on the site. I was a big fan of its mobile-optimized website and soft games, and the sheer number of live poker satellites make it a must-play for anyone who loves live poker.

If you’re a fan of generous rakeback programs and soft games, look no further than Everygame Poker. Add in their outstanding 24/7 customer service and a wide range of banking options to suit your every need, and it’s clear why Everygame Poker is a fan favorite. I’d highly recommend playing on the site.
