The WSOP schedule is highly anticipated each year, as it outlines the dates and events for the largest and most prestigious poker tournament series in the world. The WSOP schedule features dozens of events, catering to players of all skill levels and bankrolls.

WSOP 2024 Schedule

The 2024 World Series of Poker kicks off on May 28^th with two events kicking off the action at Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas Casinos. The opening event is actually the $5,000 Champions Reunion which joins the traditional curtain-raiser to the festival, the $500 entry Casino Employees Event on the Day 1 schedule, which is a reward for hard-working staff members from around the world who help put poker tournaments on all year round.

In the opening week of the 2024 WSOP, there are a total of 19 events taking place – eight more than in 2023 – and the pace is more than carried out through the series, which ends on July 17. The event is concluded with the 99th and final event of the series, the $1,000 buy-in Super Turbo No Limit Hold’em event.

As always, most players will cast their eyes down the schedule to find the $10,000 WSOP Main Event, which last year awarded the winner, Daniel Weinman, the $12.1 million top prize. This year’s Main Event kicks off on July 3 and ends on the final day of the festival, July 17.

Elsewhere on the schedule, favorites such as the $400-entry Colossus (June 28), $1,000 buy-in Ladies Championship (also June 28) and $1,000-entry Tag Team (July 1) events all jostle for position among some big ticket majors, such as the $50,000 Poker Players Championship (Jun 23), $250,000 Super High Roller (June 21) and $100,000 High Roller (June 18).

When is the 2024 WSOP taking place?

The 2024 WSOP is back on its regular summer schedule and will run from May 28th to July 17th. There will also be a WSOP Europe which takes place later on in the year, and that will be running from October 25 and November 15.
