WSOP Circuit Series Due to Arrive in Canada for First Time

With 18 WSOP Circuit ring events and CA$14M+ guaranteed, the 2026 WSOP Super Circuit Canada is going to provide plenty of excitement for thousands of Canadian poker players, as well as others who will travel to Montreal this August for a fortnight of fun. Included in that number are the 2025 WSOP Main Event winner Michael Mizrachi and the eight-time WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu.

When Does the WSOP Super Circuit Canada Series Take Place?

Running from August 26 until Sept 12 in Montreal, Quebec, the 2026 WSOP Super Circuit Series in Canada will pay out a minimum of CA$14,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools. With a CA$10m guarantee attached to the Main Event, the schedule of events needn’t cost players the buy-ins, with live and online satellites available in the Playground Poker Club or on GGPoker online.

There are 18 WSOP Circuit rings up for grabs, with winners earning a WSOP Paradise package worth $30,000 too. Certainly, Canada will never have seen anything like it, and it is the first time that such a huge series has made it North of the border between the United States and Canada.

The second largest country in the world, Canada, will play host to 18 events from tomorrow, August 26^th, as the most important poker series ever held in Canada running through September 12 at PPC in Kahnawake, Quebec, just outside Montreal. The CA$5,000 Main Event has a CA$10 million guarantee all of its own and is sure to welcome the biggest attendance of the 18 events.

The WSOP Circuit Canada Main Event

The CA$5,000 Main Event will be one of the biggest single events ever to take place in Canada. Opening day flights play out from September 3 to 6, with the event concluding on September 10 at the PPC. The schedule includes a gentle opening event on August 26 as the No Limit Hold’em CA$500 Super Circuit Kickoff guarantees CA$150,000 and welcomes players into the action at the shallow end.

After the opener, bigger events such as the CA$500 Mini Main Event (CA$500,000 guarantee) and CA$1,000 Mystery Bounty (CA$400,000 guarantee) both take place, with the CA$2,300 Super Circuit Championship taking place from August 31 with a CA$500,000 guarantee.

Daniel Negreanu is coming back to the Playground Poker Club in Montreal in August too, as the eight-time WSOP bracelet winner takes on the festival in the country of his birth.

“Canada travel plans booked!” Negreanu told those on X earlier this summer. “First stop Montreal for the WSOP Super Circuit at Playground, then Vancouver to stream the GGPoker WSOP Main Event and others. I was cast for a sick reality show filming in Sept, signed the deal, but didn’t pan out in the end… maybe next year!”

High Stakes and Heroes

Negreanu will be pleased to see that there are a raft of higher buy-in events slated to take place. The CA$14,000 GGMillion$ High Roller has a CA$1 million guarantee, while a CA$25,000 Super High Roller is scheduled to kick off on September 8. A CA$6,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller – the format Kid Poker won his eighth WSOP bracelet in during the summer – begins on September 10.

Anyone who wins one of the 18 WSOP Circuit rings on offer will also receive a package to the WSOP Circuit Championship event at WSOP Paradise 2026 in The Bahamas. Taking place at Baha Mar Resort this year rather than Atlantis, the WSOP Player of the Year race will also end in the sun-drenched destination.
