From the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event to other events such as the Mystery Millions and Colossus, the WSOP has a poker tournament for every pocket. The World Championship might cost $10,000 but there are five events this summer that cost under $1,000 that will appeal to the legions of ‘weekend warriors’ that make up a huge portion of the WSOP fields every year. We’ve got the full rundown of all 100 events right here.

When Does the 2026 World Series of Poker Take Place?

“Thousands of incredible stories are waiting to be told at the World Series of Poker.”

Las Vegas will welcome players to the 2026 WSOP from May 26 this year, with the 100-event festival running through until July 15…. or even later. We’ll come to the Main Event later, because while we know when the big one kicks off, the end-date of the World Championship is still a mystery.

The 2026 WSOP schedule will take place from May 26th through July 15th at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris casinos in Las Vegas, with the 100 bracelet events broadcast sporadically on WSOP and PokerGO, though the broadcasting specifics of the schedule has yet to be announced. Jeff Platt, who recently moved from PokerGO to the WSOP after 10 years.

Platt said in an interview just last month that there will be “a drastic improvement in the viewing experience, both live and via broadcasts”.

“I’m so excited for not only the poker community to see what we have in store,” Platt said. “But [also] for casual viewers to get a taste of the game we know and love.”

Along the way, plenty of the most popular tournaments – including the WSOP Main Event World Championship – will doubtless make it to the TV screen.

“As we saw in 2025, thousands of incredible stories are waiting to be told at the World Series of Poker,” Ty Stewart, the CEO of the WSOP said. “We’re more committed than ever to being poker’s unquestioned biggest stage and to shining a brighter spotlight on our favorite game.”

Could the November Nine Be Back?

With the 100 events of the World Series of Poker taking place between May 26 and July 15, more amateurs than ever could qualify via GGPoker, whose Global Ambassador Daniel Negreanu encouraged players of all levels to “take your shot at the gold in 2026” via the expanded satellite schedule on GGPoker.

Jack Effel, the Senior VP of Poker Operations at Caesars Entertainment, said: “Our favorite time of year is around the corner, and we cannot wait to once again welcome the poker world back to the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. This summer’s World Series of Poker promises more action and more opportunities to play your favorite events than ever before, from the first ‘Shuffle Up and Deal!’ to the crowning of the Main Event champion.”

The $10,000-entry No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, otherwise known as the Main Event, returns for 2026 but while we know when the tournament will begin, starting on July 2nd, the dates for the final table have not been revealed, leading to speculation that the ‘November Nine’ format that was in place between 2008 and 2016 might be back.

Back then, the final nine players returned home to spend over three months preparing for the final table, leading to some fascinating clashes between players who had enjoyed a lot of coaching and others who had blown through a chunk of their ninth-place money (we’re looking at you, Mark Newhouse).

Will there be a ‘November Nine’ feel to the World Championship in 2026 or are we just being teased for a quicker turnaround time? We’ll find out soon.

Great Events for Amateurs to Take On

With 100 events on the schedule, some old favorites have returned for 2026, while some brand-new events are sure to intrigue poker players from all over the world. In previous years, the $500-entry Casino Employees Event has kicked off the action, but in 2026, that event has been bumped to Day 2 in deference to a pair of open events, the $550 buy-in Mini Mystery Millions and an 8-Max $5,000 NLHE event.

There are plenty of low-cost events, with five bracelet events costing less than $1,000 to play but 52 events fit between the $1,000 and $5,000 bracket, welcoming more players than ever to Las Vegas if things go to plan.

The $1,700-entry U.S. Circuit Championship on June 2 links the WSOP-Circuit community to the main festival, and there are more Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) events than ever before, with a $1,500 five-card PLO event on June 18 and an exciting new Pick Your PLO tournament taking place on July 9. That is in a Dealer’s Choice format featuring PLO, PLO8, Five-Card PLO, and Big O.

Big field, low entry events like the $1,500 Monster Stack and $500-entry Colossus are also back on the schedule, too, as the WSOP caters to players with smaller bankrolls and less time available to travel to Las Vegas and compete or glory. The $1,500 Millionaire Maker will be a big one for the recreational player, and starts on June 17, and the $1,000 Mystery Millions begins just under a week later on June 23, both will fill up the Horseshoe and Paris cardrooms, while the $10,000 GGMillion$ High Roller is a big one to take a shot at on May 31.

Elite Players Enjoy Bumper Set of Events

The most expensive event at this year’s WSOP is a $250,000 Super High Roller, with no million-dollar Big One for One Drop on the list. The $25,000-entry NLHE Heads Up Championship is one of the earliest high roller events to take place, kicking off on May 29, with only 64 players allowed to play as per the same cap as in 2025 for filming reasons.

The two biggest ticket events are almost back-to-back in the festival, as the $250,000-entry Super High Roller (June 13) is followed soon after by the $100,000 buy-in High Roller PLO (June 15). Michael Mizrachi will look to retain his $50,000 Poker Player’s Championship title as players compete for the Chip Reese trophy from June 21.

With 100 bracelet events, everyone could have a shot at glory, with the WSOP Online series schedule yet to be announced. As to when you can expect to hear about the final table of the WSOP Main Event? Just keep it locked to Tight Poker and you’ll be among the first to know!

The gold rush for WSOP bracelet glory has begun.
