WSOP.com, an online poker room licensed and regulated in Nevada, announced that it will award more points through its loyalty program, called Action Club. Players who have achieved higher levels in the Action Club can claim 50 percent more rakeback than that offered previously.
Poker players who have achieved the Silver level in the Action Club will now get a multiplier value of x4 for points, while those who have achieved the Seven Stars level will receive a multiplier value of x15, which is much more than the previous value of x10.
This indicates that the new loyalty program is giving 30 percent more rakeback than that offered previously. Although promotions and deposit bonuses have nothing to do with the loyalty program, players will have to contribute as much as $200,000 in rake per calendar year to reap the benefits of the new system.
To reach the Platinum level, players will have to contribute a monthly rake of $600. Rakeback for this level has been increased from 7.5 percent to 15 percent. As soon as players register at WSOP.com, they will be entered into the Silver level, which requires them to contribute $100 in rake, but the rakeback for this level has been increased from 2 percent to 8 percent.
Besides, the online poker room has launched a new promotion called Loyalty Program Matching, which will be around till December. Players who have a VIP status at one of WSOP.com’s rival online poker rooms will immediately get a matching VIP status at WSOP.com.
In a bid to increase player traffic, WSOP.com has also announced a Grinder Appreciation Month, which will be around till the end of this month. Players who play 100 hands of poker for 15 days throughout the month will be rewarded with a rakeback of 10 percent. If they play 200 hands in 20 days, they will get 20 percent extra rakeback, and if they play 500 hands through the entire month, they will be rewarded with 30 percent rakeback.
WSOP.com still does not have the traffic that Ultimate Poker enjoys, but it looks like it will beat its rival before the end of this month.
The loyalty program at WSOP.com comprises the following levels—Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, and Seven Stars. The online poker room rewards players with 2 points for every dollar spent on poker tournaments and cash games and calculates rake through the weighted contributed method.
