The World Series of Poker (WSOP) recently announced that it will collaborate with Adjarabet.com, the biggest online poker website in Georgia in order to host the special WSOP Circuit that is expected to take place at the Tbilisi Sports Palace during the 3rd – 9th of March 2016.
This will be the first WSOP Circuit event to be held in Easter Europe and tournament organizers have booked the Tbilisi Sports Palace as it is the biggest indoor sports arena in Georgia as they expect a record crown to turn up. The festival is expected to have a guaranteed prize pool of $700,000 making it the biggest total prize pool to be offered in Eastern Europe. The festival will also feature a total of 19 tournaments and 7 ring events.

The WSOP Circuit festival in Georgia will feature a number of exciting events including event 1 which is the WSOP Warm-up (Ring Event) that has a $100 buy-in and a $30,000 guarantee; event 5 which is the WSOP Turbo R&A that has a buy-in for $40 and a $10,000 guarantee; event 7 which is the WSOP PLO (Ring Event) that has a buy-in for $200 and a guarantee for $15,000 and the WSOP Adjarabet Championship 1b (Ring Event) that has a buy-in for $300 and a $100,000 guarantee.
The highlight of the WSOP Circuit Georgia will be the $300,000 Main Event which takes place between the 6th-9th of March 2016. WSOP Director Gregory Chochon stated that since Georgia was located between Europe and Asia he expected some of the top poker players from Europe and Asia to be in attendance.

Some of the other events that will feature on the WSOP Circuit Georgia include event 16 which is the WSOPC Ladies Event which has a $80 buy-in and a $5,000 guarantee; event 19 which is the WSOP Farewell event that has a buy-in for $20 and a guarantee of $20,000 and the WSOP High Roller Final Day which has a $50,000 guarantee.
