Michael Mizrachi, who has won the World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet thrice, has announced that he will soon launch Blast Longer, an app that can be used on online as well as on mobile devices and can help players place last-longer side bets.
Mizrachi’s new app promises to revolutionize the way players handle side bets and supplies the platform for the placing of last-longer bets with the Blast Longer community in general and their friends in particular.

Mizrachi said: “Players at live events really enjoy placing last-longer side bets, and we realized that if we could bring it to online players, they might like it just as much.”
Opening an account at Blast Longer can be done absolutely free of charge. As soon as they become account holders, players can challenge any other member to place last-longer bets at live and online poker tournaments. Mizrachi explained: “Blast Longer offers players the ability to place last-longer side bets (blasts) with their friends or the larger Blast Longer community. The player in each blast who lasts longest in the tournaments wins the pot. Each tournament will have multiple pots at different bet levels: 10 percent, 25 percent, and 50 percent of the buy-in for online tournaments, and one percent, three percent, five percent, and 10 percent of the buy-in for live tournaments.”
The Blast Longer platform can be used to place last-longer bets on any major online poker tournament at partypoker, the iPoker Network, PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and Winamax.
Blast Longer also plans to give players the opportunity to place last-longer bets on major live tournaments too, such as the World Series of Poker (WSOP), in the near future. Mizrachi says that last-longer side bets for live events will be introduced when the WSOP 2015 begins in Las Vegas. The service can also be used to challenge any registered user of Blast Longer, giving users the chance to win extra large pots without doing much work.
Mizrachi calls it “an insurance for poker players” as the service gives them “a new, interactive way to cash on their skills.” He says that he likes last-longer bets as they have a way of increasing the prize pool and giving players better incentives to win.
According to him, Blast Longer can enhance the poker gaming experience, while making it extra profitable.
