Reigning Aussie Millions champion and Party Poker sponsored pro Stewart Scott is teaming up with the online poker room to offer users several chances to win their way into the Melbourne tournament that made his name in the poker world. Scott and Party Poker are offering three different tournament series in addition to the satellites to the Aussie Millions currently running on the site.
Scott will be taking part in The Stewart Scott Bounty Hunt, The Stewart Scott Aussie Millions Special and The Stewart Scott Highroller Aussie Millions invitational throughout November and December. The Bounty Hunt is not an Aussie Millions satellite event, but it does offer Party Poker players a chance to take on Scott, who plays under the screenname “Stewart5cott”, on the digital felt. Those who are fortunate enough to eliminate Scott from these bi-weekly bounty tournaments will receive $70.  The $64 + $6 tournaments run every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:05PM ET. The bounty events began running on November 1st, but it is not too late to get in on the action.
The Stewart Scott Aussie Millions Special is a special satellite qualifier into PartyPoker’s general Aussie Millions qualifying tournament. The first of these special tournaments ran on November 15th and the second of the two $6 buy-in events will take place on Sunday December 6th at 4:05PM ET and the winner of the event will receive a qualifying tournament seat valued at $640. Second place will earn a seat into one of the $128 qualifying tournaments, while third place gets a $70 qualifying seat. There will also be a $70 bounty on Scott during the event.
The third Scott-related tournament is coming up this Sunday and will give one lucky user a prize package to play in the Aussie Millions worth $12,500. Running at 4:05PM ET on the 22nd, this $250 + $20 buy-in event will award its winner an Aussie Millions prize package and the player who knocks out Scott will receive a $640 seat into the Aussie Millions qualifying tournament.
If playing with Scott is not your cup of tea, Party Poker is still running its tiered satellites for the Aussie Millions where players can win their way in for as little as $1 or 10 PartyPoints. The 2010 Aussie Millions will run from January 14th-31st at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to the $10,000 +$500 Main Event, the Crown will also be hosting 19 side events including a $100,000 buy-in Highrollers event, a $10,000 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha event and a team event with a $1,000 buy-in.
