Sky Poker to hold 6-Max UK Poker Championships

Poker players will never be able to forget the excitement generated by the first Sky Poker UK Poker Championships, an event that brought together the best poker players from all over the UK and became very popular.
UK poker players can now look forward to another exciting poker event, which Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) and Sky Poker have partnered to organize. Called the Sky Poker 6-Max UK Poker Championships, it is going to be the first event of its kind in the UK.

Although online poker players are fond of short-handed poker tournaments, one hardly finds them in live poker. The DTD has organized several six-handed poker events, but none of these will be anything like the Sky Poker 6-Max UK Poker Championships, which will be held from August 7 to August 17 this year.
The series guarantees a prize pool of £1 million and will begin with a 6-Max Mini with a buy-in of £250 and a guaranteed prize of £150,000. The event also includes a 6-Max High Roller Tournament with a buy-in of £3,000 and a guaranteed prize of £150,000 and a 6-Max PL Omaha Tournament with a buy-in of £500 and a guaranteed prize of £50,000. The most anticipated tournament will be the 6-Max Main Event with a buy-in of £1,000 and a guaranteed prize pool of £500,000.
DTD and Sky Poker have taken the help of several talented professional poker players while designing the structure for these series, owing to which it will turn out to be one of the best live poker events in Europe.
The main event of the Sky Poker UK Poker Championships 2014 attracted a field of 621 players, and the short-handed version that will be held in August is expected to attract more players especially as players will be allowed to re-enter the tournament a day after they get eliminated. Since Day 1c will be a freezeout, the registration desk will close on that day.
Interested poker players can qualify for the Sky Poker 6-Max UK Poker Championships 2014 Main Event at Sky Poker, which is currently running qualifiers with buy-ins as low as £1.15. Sky Poker is also running lucrative promotions such as the 800 Millionth Hand and the £20,000 Heads Up Sky Poker Cup, to mention just a few.
Players who sign up at Sky Poker through PokerNews can claim a cash match bonus of 200 percent up to £500 on their first deposit.
