Sixth Edition Of Eureka Poker Tour With €1.5 Million Guarantee Now Live

The sixth season of the Eureka Poker Tour (EPT) is being held at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic from March 2-8, 2016. This is the fourth time that the tour has been hosted by the Czech city of Rozvadov, at times also referred to as Rozevegas.
The festival will have 22 events with €1.5 million in guaranteed prize pools. The highlight of the tour will be the five-day Eureka Rozvadov €1,100 Main Event which comes with a €500,000 guarantee and will be held from March 4-8.

Three opening flights will be held at the beginning of the tour to help players build up stacks, with the first two providing a stake of 25,000 in chips and 45-minute blind levels. The final opening flight, to be held in a turbo format will be available only to those who have won at either one or both the earlier flights.
The Main Event in 2015 was the biggest in the history of the tour with 664 players. Raphael Wimmer from Austria won the Event taking home massive winnings of €99,685. Qualifications for the 2016 Main Event can be availed with less-than €1,100 buy-in. Satellite tournaments are already running on the PokerStars website, as PokerStars is an exclusive online partner of the EPT. Live satellites are being held at King’s Casino and begin at €170.
Other key events at the EPT are the King’s Casino €5,300 Super High Roller event which is scheduled to take place between March 2 and 3 and the €2,200 High Roller event which will take place from March 6-7.
Players who prefer low-stakes will also have many choices. They can participate in several events with low buy-ins: the €60 Eureka Locals NL Hold’em Deepstack EPT Edition with a €7,000 guarantee, the €70 King’s Local Championship having a €15,000 guaranteed prize pool and the €330 Rozvadov Cup offering a €100,000 guaranteed prize pool. There will also be ring games in a range of poker formats that will run 24 hours a day nonstop during this period.
This is the third time that the poker tour has opened at the King’s Casino. The casino is well known and quite popular in the region, drawing poker players from all over Europe.
