Seminole Hard Rock RRPO to Begin on Nov 19
The Rock N Roll Poker Open (RRPO) organized by the Seminole Hard Rock will return to Hollywood’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on November 19. The event, which will last till December 2, will have a buy-in of $3,500 and a guaranteed prize of $2 million.
The event comprises 14 live poker tournaments, which will be played in the ballrooms of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. In addition, there will be several qualifiers and side events. The grand finale of the RRPO will be the RRPO Championship, which will be played at the Paradise Live Theater and will be televised as well as live streamed.

The RRPO Championship will be held from November 27 to December 2. It will feature a guaranteed prize pool of $2 million, a buy-in of $3,500, a starting stack with 30,000 chips, and two starting flights. The event will begin on November 27, Friday. Players can start playing any flight; however, if they get eliminated in one flight, they can play the other. The event will feature unlimited re-entries till the beginning of the seventh level of each starting flight.
One of the most exciting tournaments on schedule is the Series Kick-off, which begins on November 19, Thursday with a Deep Stack NL Hold’em tournament with a buy-in of $350 and a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000. Another NL Hold’em tournament with a buy-in of $570 and a guaranteed prize of $250,000 will be played on November 23, Monday.
On November 29, Sunday, a Hold’em poker fund raiser tournament will be hosted by the Galbut Family Miami Beach JCC. This tourney will be played after an exclusive welcome party for celebrity guests and tournament participants. The event will have a buy-in of $10,000 and a major part of the prize pool will be diverted to charitable organizations.
Poker Night in America will televise high-stakes poker games at the last weekend of the kick-off series. In the spring of next year, CBS Sports Network will broadcast three high-stakes poker games, including a special Ladies Night. The televised version of RRPO Championship will form part of the show Poker Night: The Tour and will also be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
Hollywood’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will host satellites for the RRPO Championship from this month. Anybody can take part in these satellites and win free seats to the $2 million guaranteed Seminole Hard Rock RRPO Championship.
