Sam Trickett To Join The Premier League VI

If you are familiar with the game of poker and have paid attention to the poker world during the last decade, then you’ve likely heard the name Sam Trickett. Having amassed well over $19 million lifetime winnings, Trickett has been taking the poker world by storm, winning some of the most competitive and highly prestigious poker tournaments across the glove. Perhaps the only thing this poker young lion doesn’t have is a WSOP bracelet, which may just be a matter of time. The self-proclaimed “best poker player in European history,” Trickett may truly be one of the only players capable of backing up such claims.

Sam Trickett’s name has officially been thrown into the hat to be at the table for the Premier League VI event sponsored by PartyPoker. With only a few spots remaining, so far other notables that will be present include Jennifer Tilly, Daniel Cates, Phil Hellmuth, Jonathan Duhamel, Antonio Esfandiari and Daniel Negraunu amongst other infamous poker pros. There are sixteen total spots open for this tournament, and there are only a few remaining seats open for yet to be announced players.
If you’re used to the idea of an expensive buy-in being $3,000 or even $10,000, then when you find out that the buy-in for this game is $125,000, you may need to take a seat and catch your breath. The event will take place as part of the WPT National London Tournament at the luxurious Aspers Casino and the invite-only Premier League VI event is slated to take place during the third week of March.
In paltry comparison to the buy-in for the Premier League VI, the buy-in for the WPT London will be a mere $2,650, making the PartyPoker sponsored event to seem more of a quality tournament designed to attract only the best names in poker. Still, if you’re looking to be a part of the scene and rub shoulders with some of these poker greats, entering the WPT London, which will be held at the same venue may be a more realistic option. PartyPoker will also be offering freerolls and qualifiers for both events at their online card room. While PartyPoker doesn’t offer a qualifier for the Premier League VI event, one of the packages that they are offering for the WPT London is quite generous, as it includes the total buy-in for the event as well as $750 in spending money! Don’t spend it all in one place!
