There will be no shortage of poker action next year as PokerStars has confirmed 21 live events that will take place all around the world. The poker operator is also set to continue to award a number of Platinum Passes to the highly-anticipated 2020 PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) which takes place in Barcelona in August, 2020.

European Poker Tour
Next year, players can look forward to three EPT events, the first of which will take place in Sochi on March 20-29. One Platinum Pass is up for grabs at the tournament. The second leg is EPT Monte Carlo, happening on April 23 – May 2, where one lucky player will also walk away with a Platinum package. EPT action will then head over to Barcelona on August 12-30.
Road to PSPC in France and Spain
The 2020 PSPC is scheduled to take place on August 20-24 in Barcelona, and once again, the tournament is expected to be record-breaking. PokerStars is giving you the chance to get in on the action without spending too much by hosting the Road to PSPC live events, where you can win a Platinum package worth approximately $30,000.
The inaugural PSPC held in the Bahamas in January of this year saw Platinum Pass holder Ramon Colillas walk away with the $5.1 million top prize after outlasting a huge 1,039-entry field. Marc Rivera from the Philippines also turned his Platinum Pass into a $2.1 million victory after landing the third spot.

The French edition of the Road to PSPC starts in Paris on December 16-22. The tournament will give away two Platinum Pass packages. A second event takes place in Le Havre on January 15-19, also awarding two Platinum passes. You may also win of two passes on offer at the Road to PSPC in St Amand on February 11-16, La Grande Motte on March 10-15, and Cannes on June 1-14.
Spain will have four Road to PSPC events lined-up next year. The first one will take place in Barcelona on January 13-19, with two Platinum passes up for grabs. The other three will be held in Valencia on March 4-8, Madrid Gran Via on March 31-April 5, and Madrid Torrelodones on July 1-5. Each tournament will also be awarding two Platinum Pass packages.
7 Events in Manila
Manila has rapidly become a top poker destination in Asia. Next year, Asian poker fans will have more reason to travel to the Philippine capital as PokerStars has announced seven major events taking place in the city.
Red Dragon Manila will kick off the action on January 4-11 with one Platinum Pass on offer, followed by Okada Manila Millions on March 9-15. Players will only have a two-month break, as another huge event, the Manila Megastack 14, will take place on May 22-31, awarding another Platinum Pass.
The action continues on July 6-12 at the Manila Super Series, with APPT Manila 2020 also kicking off on July 31, running through August 9. Another edition of the Manila Super Series takes place on September 22-28. PokerStars will hold its final event in the city via the Manila Megastack Challenge taking place on December 6-13.
