In connection with its Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) 2013, PokerStars has announced a reload bonus of 20% up to $100 on player deposits.
SCOOP is a regular feature at PokerStars, the online poker room’s mega spring online poker tournament series generating massive prize pools. The newly announced reload bonus is the only big deposit bonus the poker site is giving away this year. Interested players must note that the bonus offer will remain valid only till May 10. To claim their bonus, players must deposit as much as $500 before May 10 and input the bonus promo code SCOOP2013. PokerStars will credit this bonus in real money increments of $10 each as and when players accumulate the required 200 VPPs through real money poker play.
PokerStars’ SCOOP bonus last year was $100 more than the same this year. In 2012, players who deposited $500 could claim a bonus of $250 and, in 2011, PokerStars had offered a SCOOP reload bonus of 50% up to $500.
SCOOP 2013 will kick start at PokerStars on May 12 and will be run till May 26. This mega online poker tournament will comprise 44 events, including Zoom Poker tournaments, 5 Card Omaha tournaments, and others, challenging players to win their share of a massive $40 million prize pool. Recently, PokerStars published a tentative SCOOP 2013 schedule on its website. The online poker room can modify, alter, or make changes to this schedule any time.
SCOOP tournaments will be run in high, medium, and low categories, thus catering to the requirements of different types of poker players. The buy-ins for SCOOP events can be anywhere between $5.50 and $21,000. Players can buy into the 6-max No Limit Hold’em Tournament for as low as $5.50 or as high as $21,000. In other words, PokerStars SCOOP has something for everybody.
PokerStars recently introduced brand new poker variants such as Big O and Courchevel into its portfolio of cash games. SCOOP 2013 includes Courchevel tournaments, which will be run on May 20 for buy-ins of $11, $109, and $1,050 for the low, medium, and high categories, respectively. SCOOP 2013 will also comprise events based on Texas Hold’em, Eight Game Mix, Triple Stud, Razz, 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo, Triple Draw Deuce Seven, and others.
The SCOOP of 2012, which generated a prize pool as large as $65 million, was labeled as “the biggest online tournament series in history.”
