Poker Central has announced the final schedule of the 2019 Poker Masters, alongside a new partnership with international automobile brand Jeep. This year’s edition will kick off on November 4, a few days later than the initially-announced November 1 start date. While it remains unknown why Poker Central decided to change the original schedule, players can still look forward to an exciting series with additional prizes up for grabs!
Loads Of Exciting Action
The 2019 Poker Masters will be a 10-day festival running from Nov 4 to Nov 14. Players will have more chances of winning, as the previous seven-event schedule has been increase to 10 events which come in at least three formats, including no-limit hold’em (NLH), pot-limit Omaha (PLO) and short deck. Two new mixed events have also been added to the schedule, the $10,000 8-Game and $10,000 Big Bet, both featuring a mix of PLO, NLH and 2-7 single draw. Both events will take place on November 7 & 8 respectively.
The icing on the cake is the $100,000 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event. The 2018 Main Event paid eventual winner David Peters $1.5 million in prize money and this year things are expected to be even bigger. The 2019 Poker Masters Main Event takes place on November 13-14.
PLO and short deck events remain part of the schedule, with the former now carrying a $10,000 buy-in, lower than the $25,000 in 2018. Each of the ten events will run for two days; the final table will be reached on Day 1, with streamed action resuming on Day 2, during which a winner will be determined. PokerGO will provide cards-up coverage on the events’ final battle.
Poker Central will also once again drop the rake for players who are able to register on time. To avail of this offer, participants should make it to the registration line by noontime. Players eliminated early will get another shot at victory as all of the events, except the Main Event, allow re-entries.
Jeep-branded Leaderboard
Exciting prizes await players who can accumulate lots of points on the series leaderboard. The player racking up the most points for the duration of the tournament will take home an extra $100,000 as bonus, and will earn the right to wear the much-coveted Poker Masters Purple Jacket.
As part of its partnership Poker Central, the Jeep brand has been inscribed on the annual High Roller of the Year award, with extra prizes up for grabs.
