As a part of the contract, Playtech will deliver a customized desktop and mobile-enabled poker platform with its award-winning iPoker client which will showcase the latest features and functions. The new platform is expected to be launched on Win2Day around mid-March of this year. The company will provide ongoing technical support and expand its offering over the next three years.
iPoker has been chosen by many top international gaming brands and sports betting companies such as bet365 and Coral, William Hill and Paddy Power. Playtech recently overhauled its platform, investing significantly to improve its functionality and its usability for a better gaming experience. The redesign is also an attempt by the company to reverse the platform’s declining popularity in recent years.
As a part of the new design, the game offers quicker access with a new home lobby tab and quick seat function. Playtech has strived to make the players’ experience more personal by offering personalized access which keeps tabs on the games played previously. Once played, these games are added to the player’s home screen enabling rapid access to favorite games.
Some of the other features introduced include newly enhanced filters that have been created to make it easier to find and join any tournament, game or even specific cash table. New design tweaks have made it easier for the player to set game limits and also assists in choosing games to sit in such as Sit and Go, Twister Poker etc.
A new section called My Poker gives the player access to a variety of settings and options. It also gives the player an overview of important information including poker bonuses, favorite games, rewards, free tokens, messages etc. Poker players who would like to demo the new iPoker platform, can do so by going to www.ipokerbeta.com
