Most of the buy-ins start at €220 as the event organizers wanted to keep the buy-in as low as possible to make it easy for everyone to take part in as many events as possible. The highlight of the festival will be the Main Event which has a buy-in for €3,300 and will take place between the 1st– 6th of December. King’s Casino Prague has also run a special promotion giving free accommodation to poker players who have signed up for the Main Event Day 1A.
The WPT Prague event will finish just as the European Poker Tour Prague event kick-starts and the timing is ideal as the two tournaments in Prague are expected to generate a lot of tourism for King’s Casino which is situated very close to where the EPT Prague event will be staged. In a statement, Donnie Peters, PokerNews Editor-in-Chief said “At the end of every year, Prague is the place to be for poker. That includes the magnificent partypoker WPT Prague festival, complete with a €3,300 Main Event and a €10,000 High Roller. Plus, the city of Prague is unlike any other this time of year.
