Partypoker has made several of its customers happy by announcing that it will launch the wait list feature into its software platform next year.
Users of Two Plus Two, the popular online poker room, have been urging partypoker to introduce a wait list feature right from May. Oviously, partypoker did not hear their voice as it does not have that many customers in New Jersey. According to data available at PokerScout.com, the Party Borgata Network, comprising nj.partypoker.com and BorgataPoker.com get a weekly average of 150 players to its cash game tables, making it the 39th biggest online poker network in the world. However, it is bigger than its competitors in New Jersey as WSOP.com gets only 120 players to its cash game tables while the All American Poker Network gets only 65 players.

However, it is about time partypoker introduces a wait list feature as customers have been waiting for it for a long time. Partypoker representative Colette said on Two Plus Two, “Having spoken with our product team today – we have a wait list solution planned to go live early 2015.”
This has left players wondering if a “wait list solution” is the same as a wait list. Many people are not at all in favor of wait lists in online poker. They feel that wait lists are meant only for grinders, not recreational players who want to start playing at the earliest possible. Recreational players will not bother to wait. They will just find a table and start playing. Only grinders are particular about the table they would like to play at and they usually look for tables populated with fish. Wait lists, therefore, are clogged with grinders, who refuse to just start a new table. This makes it very difficult to find a game as it leads to fewer active tables.
On the other hand, wait lists are considered essential by many as they prefer not to start a new table and would like to play at full tables. In the absence of wait lists, players will have to sit in front of their PCs and wait for a spot to appear.
Interestingly, partypoker’s software has a wait list feature, but in case of partypoker NJ, the wait list feature is just not activated. Players are now waiting to find out what exactly partypoker NJ means by a “wait list solution.” It could be the usual wait list feature or something totally innovative.
