With Christmas almost upon us, Party Poker has decided to double the amount of PartyPoints that players can win over the holidays. Starting on December 24th at 12:00 ET and ending at 23:59 ET on December 25th, players will be earning twice the regular amount of PartyPoints when they play in ring games and tournaments at Party Poker.

Players should be able to take full advantage of this offer since Party Poker was recently voted first in a Poker Players Research opinion poll asking which room was the easiest to win at. Plus players have better poker odds for winning PartyPoints since the Party Poker rewards program has been totally revamped.

The majority of the weekly and monthly PartyPoint goals that players had to meet in the past are gone; now people only have to keep track of their PartyPoints. Another bonus to the rewards program changes is that people can turn their PartyPoints into cash at a much lower rate. This means players will be earning a lot more money since they don’t need nearly as many points to get the cash.

People who play tons of poker hands at this room will be greatly rewarded by the brand new Palladium Lounge. Players who earn 5,000 PartyPoints a month qualify for the Palladium Lounge and will get bonuses that regular Party Poker members don’t. Here are some of the extra rewards:

  • Special reload bonuses, exclusive rake races, and extra leaderboard races.
  • Entry into more freerolls.
  • An extra 30% in bonuses and rewards.
  • VIP privileges.

Besides the Palladium Lounge, there is an Elite Palladium Lounge for the most frequent players at Party Poker. Those who earn 75,000 PartyPoints every quarter and 300,000 points every year will qualify for the Elite Palladium Lounge. All Elite Palladium Lounge members get these perks:

  • Top rewards and bonuses.
  • The chance to appear in live television events.
  • Entry into exclusive events every three months.

In addition to the rewards program changes and the double PartyPoints offer, Party Poker is also giving away prize packages to several live events. They are offering $5,000 prize packages for the Irish Poker Championship, $6,000 packages for the Asian Poker Tour Manila event, and $6,500 prize packages for the Party Poker World Showdown.

All of these events will be held in January and qualifiers and satellites are running at Party Poker right now; some of the satellites are only $1 to enter.
