Party Poker has just announced that they will be upgrading their rewards program so players can earn more money and prizes. The main change made to the Party Poker rewards program is that players will only have to get one type of points in order to earn cash, prizes, and entry into satellites and land-based tournaments.

The rewards program used to be more complicated because players had to meet weekly or monthly point goals for every bonus. Plus there were various kinds of points besides PartyPoints which made things confusing for some people. But this has changed since players only need to worry about how many PartyPoints they have in their account.

Another big change to the Party Poker rewards program is that players can redeem their points for cash at a much lower rate. This means that people can earn the same amount of points in their poker hands, yet earn more money when cashing them in. One other added perk to the rewards program is that players can buy PartyPoker bonuses with their points, which is something that couldn’t be done previously.

The top players at Party Poker will also benefit greatly from the changes made to the rewards program since there is a new Palladium Lounge. Those who play enough poker hands to earn 5,000 points a month will get even more bonuses than regular players; some of these perks include:

  • Special leaderboard races, non-deposit reload bonuses, and rake contests.
  • VIP service.
  • Entry into exclusive events.
  • More than 30% in bonuses and rewards – a Party Poker record.

Going beyond the Palladium Lounge, there is also an Elite Palladium Lounge for those who really play a lot of poker hands. As long as a player earns over 75,000 points per quarter and 300,000 points per year, they will be entitled to the following:

  • Exclusive events every three months.
  • Opportunities to represent Party Poker in live televised events.
  • Premium rewards and bonuses.

Party Poker thinks the changes they’ve made to their room will improve players’ experiences in the long run. PartyPoker.com’s Head of VIP – Kristen Makin – said,

“The Palladium Lounge is easy to understand and makes PartyPoker.com the most rewarding and exciting online poker room around. We’ve spent months listening to customers and are now giving them the great program that they want.”

Changing up the rewards program isn’t the only thing Party Poker has been busy doing since they have recently added some new features too. Players will now be able to use resizable tables in Pot Limit Omaha games as well as a wider selection of heads-up No Limit cash games.
