In an effort to constantly improve their room, Party Poker has added several new features to their software. The new features are upgrades to the Party Poker lobby and tables.
The biggest change means players will be able to multi-table with greater ease, since they can open new tables directly from the one(s) they’re playing at. In addition to this, players will have the option to arrange the tables any way they want to fit their computer screen. Customizable alerts will also be available at the table so that people can catch all of the latest Party Poker news while they’re playing.
Another feature Party Poker has added with regards the tables includes the ability to customize one’s image (avatar). A player can either use one of the images from Party Poker’s library or they can even upload one of their own pictures as an avatar.
The major change to the Party Poker lobby is that players will be able to find what they want more quickly due to the Quick Search feature, which allows a player to find the table they’re looking for and sit down in less than 3 seconds; people can save their favorite searches under the Favorites section too.
For those who don’t like to jump into a game right away, Party Poker has added a lobby feature where players can preview the table action before they sit down.
Besides the improvements made in the software, Party Poker also announced they will be holding a $1 million guaranteed tournament every month called the Monthly Million. This tourney is held on the first Sunday of each month at 12:45 ET and costs $640 to enter.
However, those who don’t want to pay the $640 buy can still get into the Monthly Million by playing in satellites and qualifiers that the room is running. Some of the satellite tournaments are just $1 to enter while Daily Points Qualifiers allow people to use their Party Points to win one of the 20 Monthly Million seats given away each Friday. The more Party Points a player uses for their buy-in, the closer they will be to winning one of the seats.
