For years, Pacific Poker has had what has been generally regarded as the worst software in the online poker world. It was ugly, clunky, feature-barren, and just plain no fun to use.Not that it really hurt Pacific or its parent company, 888 Holdings, as the poker room was still one of the largest on the internet until banning U.S. customers, but the software could not have helped.

Now, finally, Pacific has upgraded its software. The look isn’t so dramatic that players will be shocked when they login, but Pacific has most definitely made major improvements.Amongst the changes:

  • 3D avatars and overall slicker looking tables with changeable backgrounds.
  • More organized lobby; customizable table details.
  • Cash game re-buys and add-ons.
  • Passwords can now be changed at will.
