On October 29, UltimateBet.com released an upgrade to its poker software, adding features that many of its competitors have had for quite some time.

  1. Resizable tables – That’s right. You can finally adjust the size of the full table view to fit several tables on one monitor.Or, if you prefer, you can maximize a table to span the entire screen. The mini view is still an option for those who have grown accustomed to it, but it is not resizable (it’s already mini).Tables can now be tiled or cascaded, as well.
  2. Pop-up options – if you multi-table, it is probably safe to say that you have mis-clicked once or twice when a table at which it was your turn jumped to the front while you were still acting at another table.Or maybe you were typing something in another window, a table popped up, and all of a sudden, you are making no sense in the text box.No more worries.UltimateBet has added the option to stop tables from being forced to the front.
  3. Local hand histories – finally, hand histories can be automatically saved to the hard drive.
  4. Hand re-player – if you really want to see a graphical depiction of one of your hands, you can import a hand history into the hand history player.

As with any update, if you have not logged into UltimateBet since it was released, your software will be upgraded automatically.
