Michigan poker players can take part in the Michigan Championship of Online Poker (MICOOP) that starts on Sep 10 to 27. A guaranteed prize pool of $1.5 million spread across all events is on offer here.
Reasons To Play 2021 MISCOOP
This 18 day poker festival has a lot to offer as PokerStars has put together an exciting line up of 68 events. Players will have to be physically present within the boundaries of Michigan to be able to participate in the 2021 MISCOOP.
PokerStars MI has tried to appeal to a wide range of players across the state and put together events that have buy-ins that start from $10 and go all the way up to $1,000. There are also a number of different poker variants on offer to cater to different player preferences. You will find loads of NLH events, Progressive KOs, mixed game contests, Zoom, Heads Up and Battle Royale.
We took a look at all 68 events and found that the average buy-in across events is around $135 while the average guaranteed prize pool is just over $22,000. If you have a small bankroll and are wondering whether you can play at MISCOOP, wonder no more.
There are over 15 events that have a buy-in less than $50 and another 15 plus events that have a buy-in between $50 and $100. PokerStars MI is also running a number of satellite events to enable players to qualify for MISCOOP events at a fraction of the cost.
High Stake Events To Watch Out For
PokerStars MI has also scheduled a number of exciting high roller events throughout the tournament. The MISCOOP Main Event will headline the festival and comes with a $300 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $150,000. There are four special high roller events that you need to watch out for.
The first is event 6 which is the PKO High Roller that takes place on Sep 11 and comes with a $500 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $40,000; the second is event 12 which is a 6-Max High Roller than runs on Sep 12 and has a $500 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $40,000.
The third high roller event is event 39 which runs on Sep 19 and features a $500 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $40,000; the last high roller is event 62 which takes place on Sep 26 and has a $1,000 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $60,000.
