The 23-year-old beauty, Layla Kayleigh, was introduced last week as the new hostess for the World Poker Tour. Her debut came at the final table of the WPT Mirage Poker Showdown, which will be aired in early 2008 on the Game Show Network.

The London native is perhaps best known for her role as co-host of G4TV’s “Attack of the Show,” but she has also appeared as an on-air correspondent for Fox Sport’s “Best Damn Sports Show Period,” and The Vegas Insider.

Her resume does not stop there, however. She has been a host for MTV Britain, ABC Football, and on Al Gore’s Current TV.She also appears weekly on the Covino and Rich Show on Sirius Maxim Radio.Kayleigh will make her feature film debut later this year as the lead in A Simple Promise (side note: Alana Etheridge, one of the kids in the game show “Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?” plays her daughter in the film).

With her experience in celebrity interviews and reporting on pop culture, Kayleigh should fit in well with the WPT and not be intimidated by all the pomp and circumstance.Said Robyn Moder, Executive Vice President, WPT Studios, “Not only does she have an impressive TV background hosting in the sports and entertainment world, but she is energetic, intelligent and strikingly beautiful—the perfect combination to engage WPT fans. We are thrilled to welcome Layla to the WPT family.”
