The King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic is one of the most well known casinos in Europe and is known for having the biggest poker room in Europe. The casino has hosted some of the most prestigious poker tournaments during the last few years which include the 2017 European Poker Sport Championships (EPSC), Italian Masters of Poker and the German Masters of Poker.

Leon Tsoukernik, the chief executive officer of the King’s Casino is the man who is responsible for not only developing the casino but turning it into one of the most popular casinos for hosting the best poker tournaments in Europe. Tsoukernik confirmed that the King’s Casino would continue to focus on hosting the most popular poker tournaments in Europe and confirmed that some of the upcoming poker tournaments include the Spanish Poker Festival Winter Challenge, Dutch Classics and the German Poker Days Festival. The casino will also host the popular PokerStars Rozvadov Festival and the World Series of Poker (WSOP) circuit later this year.

While this looks like a busy schedule for the King’s Casino and its staff, Tsoukernik also has another project going on simultaneously and that is adding more space to the casino to accommodate its growing player base. The gaming floor will see an addition of 1,800 square meters and an extra 40 poker tables being added.  One of the concerns that the King’s Casino had faced in the past was providing overnight accommodation to poker players who visited the casino as there were not enough hotels in Rozvadov to cater to the number of visitors.

The King’s Casino decided to address this problem in 2016 by announcing the development of a hotel that will create 218 rooms so that players can stay overnight and not face any problems in finding accommodation. Tsoukernik believes that one of the reasons why King’s Casino has been so successful over the years and hosts such prominent poker tournaments is because they always put their players first and since Tsoukernik is a poker player himself, it gives him unique insight into what needs to be done to make the player’s experience exceptional.

In a statement, Tsoukernik said “The recent multi-year deal with two WSOPE festivals being held in Rozvadov really makes me proud. We have exciting events in the schedule already for 2017 and we still welcome our partners from all over the world. We recently had a large group of players from Georgia at King’s; I want to see more of that from more and more countries!”
