The King’s Casino in Rozvadov, the Czech Republic has the biggest poker room in all of Europe and has continued to host some of the most popular poker festivals in Europe. The casino which has been opened for the last 13 years is situated near the German border and attracts poker players from both eastern and western Europe.
The town of Rozvadov is extremely small and has a population of just 500 people and as a result the King’s Casino has faced challenges in providing top quality accommodation to poker players who travel to the casino. In 2015, more than 250,000 poker players visited King’s Casino and a majority of these players found it difficult to find suitable accommodation. Leon Tsoukernik, the owner of the King’s Casino has recognized these challenges and has decided to invest up to €20 million to provide world class accommodation and also to enlarge the poker room.

Tsoukernik has had to make arrangements with guesthouses and hotels in neighboring towns to accommodate the thousands of poker players who flock to the casino but this business model has had a number of loopholes and has resulted in the King’s casino losing a number of its customers due to a lack of accommodation.
Tsoukernik confirms that the casino will open a new hotel that will have 218 rooms, saunas, a fitness center and massage rooms. The first three floors of the hotel will be a four star property, the fourth floor will be five star hotel with 18 luxury suites that caters to every possible need of its guests. The expansion will also include adding an addition 1,800 square meters of gaming floor and a total of 40 more poker tables.
The €20 million expansion is expected to be completed by the end of August 2017 and will further cement the reputation of King’s Casino as being one of the best places to play poker in Europe.
