The iPoker Network now occupies the third rank for player traffic to its cash game tables. Since iPoker got 150 more players to its cash games, its seven-day average traffic shot up to 1,500, putting it in the third rank, which was previously occupied by Bodog/Bovada.

Getting the third rank wouldn’t have been possible for the iPoker Network if the player traffic to Bodog/Bovada’s cash game tables had not decreased. According to PokerScout.com, Bodog/Bovada lost as many as 250 cash game players, a fact that led to its decline into the 4th rank, which it holds along with PokerStars.it.

The iPoker Network, which contains skins such as Iron Poker, Betfair Poker, and William Hill Poker, is among the world’s most popular online poker networks.

While the iPoker Network has crawled up to the third rank, player traffic to PokerStars and 888poker has increased by 500 players and 200 players, respectively, from the beginning of 2016.

PokerStars began the New Year by implementing major changes to its loyalty scheme. Although many players protested and boycotted PokerStars, it made no change to the player traffic at the online poker room.

Many other online poker rooms have witnessed traffic gain. Winamax.fr got 300 more players to its cash game tables and obtained the sixth rank. Partypoker.com, which had previously occupied the sixth rank, slid to the seventh rank in spite of getting 100 more players to its cash game tables.

The Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) and PokerStars.fr have both got back into the list of top ten poker rooms with regard to player traffic. PokerStars.fr now occupies the 9th rank while MPN occupies the 10th with Full Tilt Poker.

PokerStars.com’s sister site Full Tilt Poker lost 50 cash game players, but this hasn’t change its industry position. Adjarabet Poker is no longer in the list of top ten poker rooms.

Online poker rooms in US states that have regulated online poker have witnessed an increase in the player traffic from the beginning of this year. Both 888poker NJ and WSOP.com NJ have got ten more players, which has pushed their average seven-day traffic to 200 players. Meanwhile, traffic to cash game tables at rival poker rooms BorgataPoker.com and partypoker NJ has doubled.

Player traffic to online poker rooms in Nevada and Delaware has shot up to 190 players from ever since the beginning of 2016. Obviously, this is because of the interstate compact signed between the two states last year.
