The latest edition of Grand Prix Mini is guaranteeing at least £100,000 for a buy-in of only £60. Dusk Till Dawn is once again teaming up with partypoker to host the event which kicked off on May 12 and will run until May 19.
Players who are keen on taking part in the event can only do so through their partypoker account. From the £60 buy-in, £50 goes to the prize pool, while the remaining £10 is the rake. Winners will also receive their payouts via their respective partypoker accounts.
Key Details of the Grand Prix Mini
The event has five online Day 1s running from May 12 until May 16. An additional seven live flights will take place at Dusk Till Dawn on May 17 – 19. The winner will be crowned on the final day, May 19.
During the five online starting flights, players begin with 100,000 chips, played in 10-minute levels. There will be a total of 18 levels, with the chip count being made at the end of the last level. Those who still have chips will proceed to the live Day 2.
The live flights follow the same structure as online – players sit down with 100,000 in starting chips and play 18 levels; the only difference is that the levels are 25 minutes long. Also, Live Day 1s will play 16 levels of 15 minutes each. They will adopt a similar blind structure, but the exception is that individual antes will be replaced with the big blind ante. Players are allowed unlimited re-entries and can play in as many as Day 1s throughout the event. However, if they progress more than once, they can only take with them their largest stack through to Day 2.
