Over the past few weeks, we have heard some massive announcements from GGPoker. The online poker room is looking to establish itself as one of the top poker rooms in the world. This is always difficult given the fact that the iPoker market is so competitive.
However, GGPoker has made some strategic partnerships that will help it quickly establish its brand as a household name in the poker world. The poker room has made a number of interesting moves recently which include signing former tennis world number one Boris Becker as its first sporting ambassador, joining forces with the World Series of Poker (WSOP) for the first-ever $100 million guaranteed WSOP Super Circuit Online Series.
The latest move involves GGPoker adding another strong name to its roster of elite ambassadors. This time around the online poker room has signed German poker pro Fedor Holz who is ranked 8th on the All Time Money list with over $32.5 million in prize money. GGPoker has also established a unique partnership with Pokercode, a poker training site co-founded by Holz.
As part of the latest partnership, Holz will now wear the GGPoker badge, alongside Becker and top pros Daniel Negreanu, Bryn Kenney, Felipe Ramos, and Bertrand Grospellier.
Pokercode Community Joins GGPoker
The Pokercode community will also become part of the GGPoker family, and both brands will now be working together toward a shared goal. Head of GGPoker Jean-Christophe Antoine is excited about it, saying they’re happy to partner with yet another top brand, headed by one of the world’s most successful poker pros.
Holz is equally delighted to have joined GGPoker, and is excited about the fact that the Pokercode community will now be part of the “best platform” in the industry.
Holz’s numerous achievements both live and online speak volumes about his passion and dedication to poker. He and fellow high roller crusher Matthias Eibinger launched Pokercode, an interactive platform that helps players hone their skills and discover their utmost potential through community coaching, video lectures and interactive quizzes.
Since launching in September 2019, Pokercode has created dozens of extensive poker lectures for players, with the guidance and expertise of Holz and Eibinger, another accomplished pro with over $10 million in total live cashes. Both players are currently number one in their respective countries’ All Time Money List.
The lectures, which come with a fee, primarily revolve around game theory optimal (GTO) poker, a strategy that has become increasingly popular among winning pros. Pokercode aims to impart this useful strategy to players to help them improve their win rates at the tables, and bring their game to the next level.
GGPoker Continues To Grow
GGPoker has a massive few weeks ahead, with the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series running through May 30. The online festival, which kicked off on May 3, is awarding a total of 18 highly-coveted Circuit gold rings, headlined by the $1,000 buy-in Main Event which has a whopping $5,000,000 in guaranteed prize pool.
The WSOP Super Circuit Online Series runs alongside GGPoker’s other huge tournaments such as the freezeout $500,000-guaranteed GGMasters taking place every Sunday, which also has a dedicated Player of the Year Leaderboard. The leaderboard winner will become a GGPoker Ambassador.
Apart from that, GGPoker also runs a host of other daily guaranteed tournaments, bringing huge value to players. Add to that some unique features such as Tournament Staking, All-In Insurance, Smart HUD, and Smart Betting, which continue to attract players.
Exciting Partnership
While it’s rare to see poker brands and trainings sites coming together, the new partnership between GGPoker and Pokercode will benefit both parties in different ways. GGPoker is expected to boost its game offerings by introducing new formats, and this will pave the way for more training episodes at Pokercode. In return, fresh training lessons will help formulate effective marketing ideas for GGPoker which will ultimately lead to positive results.
In addition to that, a sharing of knowledge and expertise between the coaching team at Pokercode and the team at GGPoker will help both brands in discovering innovative ways to keep their customers engaged. When a top poker training site merges with a leading online poker platform, the possibilities are endless!
