The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event will take place in November 2021 and could be one of the biggest Main Events in the history of the WSOP. The WSOP had to cancel the live edition of the 2020 WSOP due to COVID-19 and hence is expecting a bigger turnout for the 2021 WSOP Main Event.
Another reason why the WSOP Main Event could be bigger and better than before is because there are a lot more satellite events and options for players to win or buy-in to the $10,000 WSOP Main Event.
GGPoker Offers Direct Buy-In
There have been complaints in the past from players that it is difficult to get entry into the WSOP and the Main Event. The long queues and limited access to purchase a WSOP Main Event seat will no longer be a problem as GGPoker just announced that players now have the opportunity to directly buy-in to the WSOP Main Event for its poker client.
GGPoker said that players can log into the GGPoker app and make a direct buy-in to the $10,000 event. They will have to make full payment of the $10,000 buy-in to get a confirmed guaranteed seat. This is a great option for poker players who don’t want to wait till November 2021 to buy-in. It is also ideal for poker players who don’t like standing in long queues and wasting time in Vegas, especially with COVID-19 still posing a problem.
The GGPoker Main Event direct buy-in option will allow you to get access to your WSOP Main Event ticket from the comfort of your home. The direct buy-in feature will continue to be opened till November 2021. The WSOP confirmed that as of now only GGPoker is offering a direct buy-in to the WSOP Main Event and a player from China has already made use of this feature.
Multiple Satellites To Main Event
While thousands of players take part in the WSOP Main Event every year, there are also thousands of players who want to play the WSOP Main Event but cannot afford to due to the high buy-in. These players should take advantage of the many WSOP Main Event satellite events that are currently running.
GGPoker is offering a WSOP Main Event satellite package that has a total value of $12,500. The $10,000 buy-in for the Main Event is included in the package along with a number of additional perks.  Apart from GGPoker, 888poker is also offering a special WSOP Main Event package.
The 888poker promotion is called Road to Las Vegas and has a total of $13,500 waiting to be won. WSOP Mandates Vaccination Certificates
Do keep in mind that the WSOP has issued new guidelines for the 2021 edition and has now made it mandatory for players to produce proof of full vaccination. You need to be fully vaccinated for a minimum of 14 days before making your way over to the WSOP.
