The fourth edition of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, an annual event that enjoys a lot of popularity, will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood from March 27 to April 16, 2014. The World Poker Tour (WPT) championship event, which forms part of it, will be held between April 10 and April 16.

The championship tournament series will be held in the ballrooms of the resort, and the final table, which will be played at Hard Rock Live, will be televised.

The tournament series, which will be held through 21 days, will begin on March 27, Thursday at 11:00 a.m. The first event will be a Deep Stack NL Hold’em Tournament with a buy-in of $560 and a guaranteed prize of $1 million.

The main event of the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, which will be shown on TV, will have a guaranteed prize of $5 million, the largest guaranteed prize to be offered for a $3,500 buy-in event. It will be played on April 10, Thursday and the final table will be held on April 16, Wednesday. Players are free to play all the starting flights and select their best chip stacks. In addition, the tournament format permits re-entries for up to three levels.

Players can qualify for the $5 million guaranteed tournament through satellite qualifiers, which will be held at five properties belonging to Seminole Gaming—the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood, the Seminole Casino Brighton, the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, and the Seminole Casino Immokalee.
