Poker players need no introduction to Fedor Holz as the 23 year old poker pro has been one of the most consistent poker players when it comes to winning big events on the global poker circuit. The German poker pro has more than $22 million in career prize money according to the Hendon Mob and is ranked in 6th place on the all time money list and 1st on Germany’s all time money list. He is also ranked 4th on the Global Poker Index (GPI) rankings and his highest cash-out till date is $4.9 million.
Fedor Holz – Reputation
The $4.9 million cashout was at the 2016 World Series of Poker (WSOP) $111,111 High Roller for One-Drop event. Holz won his first WSOP gold bracelet but did not play through the month and a half long WSOP as he felt it was too draining and also because he had already won the One Drop event. The German poker pro promised that the 2016 WSOP was his last WSOP event and that he would not be back in 2017 as he had other priorities.
One of those priorities was getting involved in coaching and mentoring other poker players on how to be consistent at winning and winning big prizes. There are hundreds of online poker websites out there providing training and coaching to poker players but very few websites have Fedor Holz providing inputs.
Holz Establishes New Company
Holz has founded a company known as Primed Mind where he is the CEO and has launched a new poker training app with the same name ‘Primed Mind’. The app is currently available in both the Google Play Store and the Apple store and can be downloaded for free. Holz has an astute mind and launched the app just as the WSOP Main Event was about to kick-off. The app has already seen 2,100 downloads in the first day since its launch.
In a statement, Holz said “I think the role of mindset is huge in anything. There’s a lot of skilled people, but just a few that actually focus on something and put their skills to use. It’s amazing to see the positive impact that mindset coaching can have on a person’s life. The problem is very few people have access to it. I believe that especially the average player that constantly struggles with mindset issues will benefit from Primed Mind, being more focused and tilt-resistant throughout the day.”
Primed Mind App
The app is free to download but for users to gain full access to all the content, they will have to pay $14.99 per month. Primed Mind will be putting out new content on a regular basis and the advice will not only be useful to poker players but also to entrepreneurs, financial traders, athletes and students. The unique feature of the Primed Mind app will be the availability of a mind coach for each user who will then give them specific advice that will help them overcome their weaknesses and put them on a road of consistent success.
When a user downloads the Primed Mind app, they will have to go through a selection process that helps them narrow down their specific topic of interest that they need help with immediately. After this, they will gain access to a 12 minute audio session dealing with the successful mindset. This 12 minute course is customized by Elliot Roe –a mindset coach.
Coaching And Mentoring App
Holz states that Primed Mind users will benefit from the monthly coaching as it will help them with their confidence, personal growth, determination, living a healthy lifestyle and recovery skills. Athletes will also be able to improve their performance as there are unique pro primers that have been designed by world champions. There are also quick primers that will help users with personal and business goals, studies, better communication skills and developing positive daily habits.
WSOP players who are taking part in the Main Event will be interested to know that Holz has also put together a special WSOP Main Event primer that will help players prepare for the Main Event. The WSOP primer is available free of charge as of now.
