Star poker player Daniel Negreanu has urged the US government to step up its game to combat climate change. He has also urged American policymakers to prepone the zero-net carbon emission deadline from 2050 to 2035. Negreanu is one of the many celebrities who have utilized their immense fame and influence to voice out their support for environmental causes and have encouraged their fans to rally for the same.

He also was one of the best performers in the WSOP 2021 and plays under the screen name KidPoker, a moniker he had earned due to his achievements at a young age.
