The sixth edition of the Czech Republic’s International Poker Championship, the Czech Poker Festival of 2014, will be played in November 2014. The newly launched Kings Casino Prague and the Smichovske Card Casino Prague will host the event. Poker players can get ready for the event by sharpening their poker skills at online poker sites.

The poker festival in Prague will comprise 12 major tournaments and 4 qualifying tournaments. The first event will be the Millionaire, but a few changes have been made to its structure, owing to which it will be called Deepstack Millionaire. Players can buy into the event for 3,000 CZK and get 40 minute levels with a starting stack of 30,000 CZK. The event will have three starting flights and will begin at many more locations throughout the Czech Republic. The tournament also offers a guaranteed prize of one million crowns and competition is expected to be tough. Last year, the tournament attracted a field of 1,144 players.

The 15,000 CZK buy-in Championship Heads-up tournament will be held at Kings Casino Prague. Players of Card Casino Prague will also play for the PL Omaha Six-Max, a re-entry tournament with a buy-in of 10,000 CZK.

The Main Event is going to be the 12,000 CZK buy-in NL Hold’em tournament, which will be played for three days, from November 19 to November 21. The festival will also comprise tournaments incorporating PL Omaha Eight-Max, HORSE, NL Six-Max, and a special ladies-only poker tournament.

A number of events will be held for the first time this year. A bounty shootout tournament featuring a progressive knockout will be held for the first time in the region. This tournament allows 81 poker players to participate and will end with a series of SnGs. The players who win the first SnG tournament will be allowed to take part in the final SnGs. The progress of each bounty player depends entirely on how much they succeed in eliminating opponents. Players can buy into the bounty shootout tournament for 3,000 + 2,000 CZK. This tournament is expected to generate a lot of interest.

Another exciting feature of this tournament is Open Face Chinese Poker. The CPF will conclude with the Poland Poker Tour, which includes a Pineapple Open Face Chinese Poker tournament with a guaranteed prize of €50,000 and a buy-in of €150.
