Card Player Poker Tour to Stop at Choctaw Casino in July

The Oklahoma leg of the Card Player Poker Tour will be held at Choctaw Casino at Durant in Oklahoma from July 18 to August 5. The tour will stop at one more place before the season comes to an end.

The Card Player Poker Tour comprises as many as 54 tournaments, including daily guaranteed tournaments and a total guaranteed prize pool of 51.5 million. The most important events will be a $150k Guaranteed $400 NL Hold’em tournament, which will be held on July 26; a $120 NL Hold’em Re-entry tournament, which will be held from July 19 to July 21 and will offer a guaranteed prize pool of $100k; a $50k Guaranteed $340 buy-in NL Hold’em tournament, which will be held on July 18; a $40k seniors-only $340 buy-in NL Hold’em tournament, which will be held on July 28; a $30k Guaranteed ladies-only $120 buy-in NL Hold’em tournament, which will be held on July 21; and the $1600 ,Card Player Poker Tour Main Event, which offers a guaranteed prize of $500k and will be held from August 2 to August 5.
The events of the final table of the $1,600 Card Player Poker Tour Main Event can be watched live on CardPlayer.com on August 5. Players can either buy-in directly to the main event or qualify through mega $120 buy-in satellites, which will be held from July 29 to August 1.

Last year, Maxx Dansky won the Main Event. He was returning home to Nashville, when he decided to stop at the Choctaw Casino Resort at Durant in Oklahoma. The $1k Card Player Poker Tour Main Event lasted for four days, at the end of the which, 25-year-old Dansky emerged as its champion and won the first place prize of $152,008.
