Bill Perkins, who has made millions playing poker, is now eager to help other poker players get rich. He is now giving away prize packages for the PokerStars Championship Bahamas that include flight charges, accommodation, and buy-ins worth $1,500 to 20 poker players tuning into his Twitch.tv channel.
There is nothing unique about Twitch giveaways, but Perkins is taking things to levels unknown. His Twitch.tv channel presents an excellent insight into his lifestyle as he streams his poker cash game action from his luxury boat. To make things more entertaining for his Twitch.tv viewers, he plays different styles of poker. Most of his fans are low-stakes players and he wants to give them a taste of his lifestyle.

In a statement, Perkins said “The way I look at poker is it’s kind of a lifestyle. It’s not just grinding and a job, it’s also travelling to places, meeting people, having fun and playing in a competitive … I’m going to call it a sport.” He is of the opinion that his prize package will give low-stakes players a chance to grab that experience”.
To help more players win his prize package, Perkins announced that he will give away a package to the person who made the funniest post on his girlfriend’s Instagram.
Perkins said that he has more giveaways in store, but for poker tournaments that will come in the future. However, he clarified that he wouldn’t be giving away World Series of Poker (WSOP) prize packages as he is not that rich.
But Perkins is rich enough to take part in the $100k buy-in super high roller, which forms part of the former PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA), now rebranded as the PokerStars Championship Bahamas.
Simultaneously, he is also doing something else he is very good at—throwing a number of challenges and side bets. Along with other high rollers, he has gotten involved in Lodden Thinks, a game that gives away a prize of $1000 for every correct answer. He said that he is “only up $4k” although he is “crushing them right now.”
Perkins has made several prop bets in the past. Last year, he made Dan Bilzerian go on a bicycle ride, which resulted in a controversy. Another prop bet made with Antonio Esfandiari resulted in the disqualification of Esfandiari from the main event. Now Perkins is in the process of making a bet with Kevin Hart, an American actor who is taking part in the super high roller tournament.
