PokerBaazi has confirmed that it will host the second edition of its EndBoss poker tournament in October 2021. EndBoss continues to be the biggest standalone poker tournament in India. The second edition of EndBoss will run from October 20 to 24 and comes with a guaranteed prize pool of 5 crore ($681,000).
PokerBaazi decides to bring back EndBoss
PokerBaazi had a lot of success with its first edition of EndBoss which took place in April 2020. The tournament took place just as India was beginning to deal with the impact of COVID-19 and still got a good market response.
The buy-in for EndBoss 2020 was fixed at 11,000 rupees ($150) and featured a guaranteed prize pool of 5 crore. PokerBaazi needed a total of 4,545 player registrations in order to meet their 5 crore guaranteed prize pool and did a lot better as 5,847 players signed up.
The EndBoss 2020 guaranteed prize pool went up to 5.85 crore rupees ($780,000) and was won by ‘Human_AI’ who took home a whopping 1 crore in prize money. As many as 585 players finished in the money with the top 5 finishers taking home big payouts.
Based on the market response to EndBoss 2020, PokerBaazi decided to run a second edition of the tournament in October 2021.
In a statement, Navkiran Singh, Founder & CEO at Baazi Games, said, “The EndBoss tournament is all about excitement and thrill which makes it the biggest standalone tournament of the country. We look forward to crowning another EndBoss”.
EndBoss 2021 – The Details
EndBoss 2021 will feature the same 5 crore guaranteed prize pool and 1,100 rupee buy-in. There are a total of 5 flights (1A to 1E) scheduled to take place which will give players sufficient time to build their chip stack before they enter day 2 which is scheduled for Oct 24.
The tournament will take place over a 5 day period and the winner will be announced on Oct 24. The EndBoss 2021 winner is once again expected to walk away with an 8 figure payout.
All of the top poker players from around the country are expected to take part in EndBoss 2021, which means the competition is going to be tough. PokerBaazi is also expecting hundreds of new players who did not take part in EndBoss 2020 to enter this tournament. This is one of the reasons why PokerBaazi decided not to raise the guaranteed prize pool and stick with the same buy-in.
The 11,000 buy-in is affordable to thousands of aspiring poker players in India who are looking to win EndBoss 2021 and establish themselves as one of the top poker players in India.
EndBoss 2021 – Satellite Events
Poker players who find it difficult to come up with the 11,000 rupee buy-in can take advantage of the numerous satellite events that PokerBaazi is running. EndBoss 2021 satellite events started running from September 1 and will continue into October.
You will find daily satellite events for EndBoss 2021 taking place at PokerBaazi for a buy-in of just 550 rupees ($7.50).
