BetMGM Poker Open To Michigan Players
BetMGM teamed up with partypoker to launch online poker services this week. This launch makes the BetMGM gaming offering complete as BetMGM had earlier launched its sportsbook and online casino. This is the second state where BetMGM is launching its online poker offering, the other state being New Jersey.
BetMGM has rolled out both tournaments and cash games for Michigan players. Only players physically located in the Wolverine state will be allowed to access the BetMGM poker offering. BetMGM will use geo-location facilities to prevent players from out of state accessing the poker room. If a poker player uses a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access the poker client and wins, BetMGM reserves the right to not pay out the winnings for violating terms and conditions.
BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said that the operator was happy to roll out its online poker client on the heels of its online casino and sports betting offering. Given the success of online casino and sports betting in Michigan, BetMGM is confident that its poker offering will also get a good response.
Special Bonuses For New Players
BetMGM knows that it has only one market competition for now in PokerStars. However, PokerStars is the biggest online poker room in the world and it will be up to BetMGM to quickly make a strong impression in the market.
