Australian Poker Pro Jackie Glazier Signs Up As partypoker Ambassador

partypoker, the online poker website announced earlier this year that it was going to take significant steps to re-launch its brand and once again capture as much market share as possible in the ever competitive online poker market. The company recently announced that it had signed Australian poker pro Jackie Glazier as an ambassador. Glazier now joins the partypoker team which includes the likes of Mike Sexton, Roberto Romanello, Natalia Breviglieri, Patrick Leonard and world champion boxer Carl Froch.
The live poker and online poker industry is predominantly dominated by male poker players and there are a very few women poker players who manage to consistently do well playing poker. Jackie Glazier is one of the few women poker players who has built a strong reputation in the global poker community.

She has represented Ivey Poker and 888poker as brand ambassadors in the past and has also won a prestigious World Series of Poker (WSOP ) gold bracelet. Glazier who according to the Hendon Mob has more than $1.3 million in lifetime career prize money had one of her best performances during the 2013 WSOP Main Event when she finished in 31st place and won $229,281.
Tom Waters, the group head of partypoker stated that the company was excited to have signed Glazier as its brand ambassador as partypoker had special plans for the Australian poker market and Glazier would help partypoker expand its presence down under.
In a statement, Glazier said “I have been closely monitoring the progress partypoker has been making over recent months and look forward to helping them to grow in the Australian market that I know so well. I am confident that together our passion will help us to expand the game of poker in my country. I am looking forward to announcing some games and promotions over the next few weeks that will offer great value to the Australian poker community.”
Glazier will first represent the partypoker brand in a couple of tournaments in Australia before heading off to play at the partypoker Million in Punta Cana and the Caribbean Poker Party where the World Poker Tour (WPT) Caribbean takes place. She will also represent partypoker at the Dusk Till Dawn tournament in April 2017 and the 2017 WSOP.
Glazier is also expected to play some online poker at the partypoker website under the username of “JACKSTARPARTY”.
