The Alderney Gambling Control Commission, also known as the AGCC, recently announced that they had issued their 100th license. The lucky recipient was the online gambling software enterprise now pushing out Fast Poker- namely the Relax Gaming Network.

Considering that the Alderney Gambling Control Commission was the body responsible for licensing the Full Tilt Poker site, once the sole provider of Rush Poker has caused many people to draw a parallel comparison between its not licensing Relax Gaming Network and its Rush poker like game – Fast poker.
Relax Gaming Network is based in Malta and is in the process of releasing a new poker variant called Fast Poker – which is almost identical to Rush Poker. Company officials from Relax Gaming appear rot be very excited about the new offering, especially as they have several poker sites like Betsson, iGame and Unibet waiting to grab the game as soon as it is available.
According to the CEO of Relax Gaming, Patrik Österåker, the company is “thrilled to launch Relax Fast Poker Network together with some of the very leading names in the industry. We look forward to the launch and are sure more operators will join in. Fast Poker has the potential to make poker really hot again. It’s fun, fast and easy, a great way of playing poker.”
The AGCC has been responsible for licensing several companies that maintain gambling sites ranging from bingo sites to poker room to online casinos. The Relax Gaming Network is the 100th enterprise to join these ranks and has generated high expectations from most sectors in the poker industry.
Despite the shady dealings of poker enterprise Full Tilt Poker – an ex licensee of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, Robin Le Prevost who is the chief of e-commerce for the AGCC highly commended the company. He claimed that by awarding its 100th license to Relax Gaming, Alderney had proved that it was “the place to be” for online gambling companies. He also claimed that the AGCC had “very high standards.”
However, some may find this latter claim to be questionable considering that Full Tilt Poker was awarded this high standard license. On the other hand, the AGCC had attempted to clear this up as well. “As soon as we became aware that there were possible irregularities in relation to FTP’s operational integrity, AGCC acted to discharge fully our statutory obligations.”
