The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is the biggest and most popular poker tournament on the global circuit as poker players from all over the world fly in to see if they can win a WSOP bracelet or go all the way and win the main event. With this extended partnership, 888poker will once again receive extensive exposure outside America through WSOP live reporting on its website, WSOP live streaming and ESPN television programming of the WSOP Main Event. The company has also secured exclusive rights with the sponsorship agreement to operate WSOP satellites.

During the 2015 edition of the WSOP, 888poker sent a total of 128 players to the tournament and one of those players Joe McKeehen ended up winning the prestigious main event. The other 888poker player that received a lot of attention during the tournament was Tommy Yates who is reported to have spent just one cent and qualified for the 2015 WSOP Main Event package which was estimated to be around $13,000 in value. Yates finished in 486th place and ended up winning $19,500 in the process.
