After signing British professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr. as brand ambassador earlier this year, 888poker has welcomed two new members to the family. The operator has added Germany’s Rene “renemastermix” Majed and Romania’s Andrei “andreicoz” Cosmin to its growing Stream Team which was formed in 2021 to help 888poker boost its Twitch presence.

888poker Looking to Grow its Roster of Ambassadors

With the addition of Majed and Cosmin, 888poker’s Stream Team now has eight members which also include Josh Manley, Nick Eastwood, David Gibson, Ricardo Mateus, Adam Tocholke, and Jordan Banfield.
Over the past few years, 888poker lost some of its long-time ambassadors, including 2014 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event champion Martin Jacobson who cut ties with the operator in 2021 after three years acting as brand ambassador. Sofia Lovgren also parted ways with 888poker in January after nearly eight years as a sponsored pro.
But 888poker has also been adding new members to the roster, including American poker pro Samantha Abernathy who joined the site in September 2021, and more recently, Eubank Jr. who is now 888poker’s cultural ambassador. They join four-time WSOP bracelet winner Dominik Nitsche, PLO master Vivian Saliba, and Canadian-British journalist Kara Scott in promoting the brand.
The latest signings are clear indications that 888poker is keen on adding more members to the team to improve its online presence.

Meet the Newest Members of Stream Team

Hailing from Flensburg, Germany, Majed has been playing poker since around 2008, but only as a hobby. In 2020 though, the same year his streaming journey started, Majed began taking the game more seriously.
Majed’s first Twitch streams saw him playing in games with a max buy-in of $11, with a starting bankroll of around $1,000. After a couple of years, Majed managed to take his play to the next level. He is now able to compete in higher-stakes MTTs with entry fees of as high as $10,000.
Majed is proud of what he has achieved so far, and all of it are a product of his hard work and determination. He is thankful to become part of the 888poker family, a partnership that will help him become more successful in his chosen career.
Cosmin, a native of Iasi, Romania, developed his love for poker almost by accident. His poker journey began in December 2017 – he was alone in the office as his colleagues had skipped work for the Christmas holidays. He was browsing the web for some stuff when he came across a video about poker on YouTube. He started from the bottom and managed to move up the stakes quickly.
In 2018, he embarked on a bankroll challenge on Twitch and he succeeded in that endeavor, transforming his $100 to $10,000 in one year. Along the way, Cosmin founded a cash game poker school in his home country.
At the moment, Cosmin plays NL200 and at the same time continues to improve his skills through constant study and practice. The 32-year-old said his next goal is to play in high-stakes cash games and he’s delighted that 888poker is with him as he tries to achieve another milestone.
The Stream Team is mostly comprised of dedicated poker players, but one member follows a different path. Tocholke, from Ontario, Canada, has no relevant poker background, but he is well-known in the music industry as a musician and producer. His music recently surpassed 50 million streams on Spotify.
The Stream Team will appear regularly on 888poker’s official Twitch channel 888pokerTV bringing tons of poker action to players and fans across the globe. Followers will also enjoy exclusive activities, freerolls, and giveaways.
