<< I've developed an open-ended draw but lost a gutshot draw and the board also has a two-way flush draw threat. Either way, pot odds don't really mean dill right now since I'm just counting on my opponent to fold if he is holding a non-improved hand, so I'll bet it out.

<< Since he shows zero aggression, I'm quite certain he has no Queen. I could see him holding Jacks (refuses to fold but good enough to pre-flop raise), KJ (straight draw) or a flush draw. Either case, if I bet, the only way he'll call is if I'm beat, since any Jack makes the straight. 
<< So, I'm gaining no value by betting here. Checks on the river are good. I have to add though, that his play did piss me off, because I played it perfectly and his poor play still won. Eh, that's poker however.

<< A very poor play from my end, considering we just watched Hevy bet out Ace high last flop. If he held anything Ax, he would be holding a hand with 3 outs, since an Ace on board makes me a two-pair to his one pair. His only outs are pocket pair or King pair right here. Definitely should have raised.

<< First reaction is.. crap. Second reaction is "Why raise on a 5?". I'm ruling out high pockets since he didn't come back at me pre-flop. He can't have mid pockets since he didn't raise me on the flop. This leaves either a set or a straight. 86 makes no sense, so I have to figure a set..
<< .. but with the two diamonds on deck and no raise on the flop, that set looks iffy. True that he's a bad player and probably doesn't realize he needs to raise a threatened set on the flop, but for whatever reason, I just don't believe him..

<< Often, if I raised pre-flop, I'd make a bet on the flop too (depending on the situation). In this situation, I just sat down at the table and am gunning it. From experience, I notice people will often call aggressive new players, especially on the internet, because they don't believe them. 
<< On Party, it's almost part of life to play with an aggressive maniac every time you sit down, so I think this is the cause of most of the new player calling syndrome. So, whereas I would usually bet, I don't here. The flop doesn't help and I can't bluff if I'm going to be called. I'll check.

<< Though lady won, her play deserves some ragging. Calling Spacely actually isn't too bad, since most players moving in with a low stack generally have given up and are dead money. Thackjw calling would be a major warning sign however, although I don't know his style. A bit lucky to have won in my opinion.
