I've got mid pair, first to act, four limpers and a made flush threat on the table. Here, slavko is telling me that he's got either the Jack or Ace/King of hearts. So, to push him off a heart draw, I would need to seriously big bet him here to make him fold, while bad players won't even fold in this position with an Ace heart. On the other hand, if he's holding a Jack and still has a heart draw, he's not folding either. I'm pretty sure I'm an underdog already. A bluff has a low chance of succeeding, so it's an easy fold. By betting 100 chips into a 40 chip pot, PotAddict has to make 5 out of 7 steals to break even. PotAddict bets (300) << Now we see PotAddict trying to salvage this pot that he's now attached to. He's overbetting this pot here, maybe in an attempt to represent pocket Aces or Kings. This is a reasonable bluff, considering his large pre-flop raise, although he overbets the pot again. A pot sized or close to pot sized bet could have had the same effect. The other extreme is to push-all in for the most effect, which of course is a dangerous proposition. masary raises (700) to 700 masary is all-In. The fact that PotAddict and masary both simply limp in tells me that they're not holding monster hands, as they would have likely pre-flop raised in this position. Even though they're not holding monsters here, with four limpers, there is a good chance that many are holding face cards. If this is the case, it decreases the chances of the SB and BB .. << .. to hold monster hands as well.
