Party Poker will no longer be taking any more US based players.

European, Canadian and non-US players are still welcome to continue playing at Party Poker.

US residents: two sites still taking US players are PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. While playing online poker does not violate federal law, Tight Poker advise you to check with your local laws first before playing.

Instructions:

Party Poker Hand History Replayer *Note: The Party Poker Hand Replayer will only run in Internet Explorer

(Update: PokerStars hand history are now semi-supported. Visit the PokerStars Converter tool page, where you can convert your PokerStars histories to a Party Poker hand history format which can play in the replayer.)

Start the Party Poker Hand History Replayer. If you are using the web version, click on the 'Start Replayer' link to start the replayer. If you are using the downloadable version, unzip the contents of replayer.zip to a directory (if you haven't already), open the directory you unzipped to, and double-click on index.html. The easy way is to just make a shortcut to index.html and place it on your desktop or in your Start Menu.

You must wait for the replayer to finish loading before going to the next step. It will be done loading when you can see all the empty chairs.

Open a Party Poker hand history and then highlight the entire history.
(Quick Tip: A quick way to select the example histories is by hitting CTRL-A, which selects everything)

Copy (CTRL-C) the highlighted text and then paste (CTRL-V) it into the white text box in the replayer. You can copy and paste multiple histories or even entire tournaments into the box. Once this is done, click on the 'Start Replayer' button and the hand should begin replaying

During the game, you may wish to pause the game. To do so, click on the grey "||" button in the center of the screen. This will stop all action. To resume playing, click on the ">>" button, which will resume the game.

If the game speed is too slow or too fast, you can use the drop down box that says "Normal" and change that to a different speed setting. The available speed settings are: Slow, Normal, Fast and Blitz. Sometimes the speed setting resets, so you may need to switch back to Normal and switch back to your desired speed.

Show Hole Cards: This box will show all available or known hole cards / pocket cards when they are available in the hand history. Hole cards are noted in the Hand History files only when there is a showdown, so many times, hole cards will not be available.

Show Comments: This box is meant to show comments in the bottom black box when comments exist. Comments are not user chat, but instead, comments made by either myself or submitted hand histories. These are used when I am analyzing. If you do not wish to see the comments, simply uncomment the game.

Pause Showdown: If you are watching a complicated pot or a game like Omaha Hi/Lo and need time to analyze the showdown, use this button (or hit pause) to have the game automatically pause during the showdown. To resume, click on the ">>" button.

That's pretty much all there is to it. The replayer uses VBScript so you'll need to use Internet Explorer to start the replayer (Sorry Netscape/Mozilla/Opera/Konquerer/Lynx/etc users :| )
