Rocco Havel

Born and raised in Syosset on New York's Long Island, Rocco is an experienced home game and casino poker player. He often travels to Atlantic City for poker tournaments at the Taj and Borgata and he occasionally dabbles in cash games up to 5/10 no limit. He is recently married and he works full-time as an engineer for a local firm. He started playing poker in 2001.

Kory Travers

Kory is a college student hailing from Des Moines, Iowa. He was a high school basketball standout and now he occupies his competitive drive on the poker tables. He started playing poker on Party Poker in the spring of 2006 -- before he was cruelly asked to leave the site after the passage of the UIGEA later in 2006. He's since moved on to PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. He competes mainly in mid-stakes SNGs and he enjoys a profitable and healthy side income as he finishes up his college degree. He hopes to take a shot at being a professional poker player after he graduates with a communications degree in summer 2010.

Adam Ulick

Born in London, Adam is Tight Poker's main UK correspondent. Unlike most of us here at Tight Poker, Adam is still allowed to play on Party Poker -- lucky guy! He enjoys playing football, going fishing and shooting pool. Adam is a food lover - he's particularly fond of tacos. His favorite soccer team is Manchester United and his favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo. After soccer, poker is Adam's favorite activity. He graduated with a university degree in journalism and in addition to his Tight Poker staff duties he freelances for several websites in the UK.

Kevin Felix

Kevin is a Bostonian poker player who grew up in a family of poker players. He was taught how to play draw as a child by his grandfather and following the poker boom he started to make regular trips to Foxwoods. As an experienced poker player he managed to post many large wins on the way to becoming a regular in the big games at Foxwoods. Due to family obligations he's largely stopped playing live poker and he's begun to concentrate more on his online game over the last three years or so. He now plays mainly 2/5 no limit online while he looks after his three year old son Kevin Jr.

Joe Zusman

Joe is a 4th generation plumber from New Jersey who took up poker following Chris Moneymaker's WSOP main event victory in 2003. He also writes short stories -- which led him to poker journalism. He enjoys home games more than online poker but he still finds time to play a little online -- mainly to brush up on his game to help him in his home games with his friends. He is happily married with three kids and he has a fourth on the way. He's a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan and he's dying to see them finally pick up a Super Bowl.

Neal Farran

Neal is a Dubliner through and through. Born and raised in Dublin he claims that he's spent less than one month of his life out of the city. Like many Irish people Neal is quite fond of beer and he also enjoys playing pool. Neal is an avid dog enthusiast and his favorite is a German shepard named Bobby -- along with his three other dogs. He is a self-admittedly terrible online poker player due to tilt but he says that he plays much calmer when playing in the local casinos. His favorite online poker site is Full Tilt Poker and he has a few friends who work for Full Tilt right in Dublin.

August Darnell

August is a true Southerner. He comes from a family of tobacco farmers in South Carolina and he's the first Darnell to break ranks and skip over the family profession. August is currently in law school and he hopes to be able to find a job when he graduates in May 2010 -- but the current legal climate is not too promising. For side income while in law school August plays poker and writes for Tight Poker. Unlike many poker players who focus exclusively on no limit holdem, August is primarily a pot limit omaha player and he recently took up triple draw. He hopes to one day win a WSOP bracelet.
