1. What is Poker Island?

Poker Island is a special promotion being run by PokerRoom and bwin. The winner of Poker Island will receive a $100,000 prize package that consists of the following packages: $20,000 WPT Five Diamonds, $30,000 WPT Championship, $20,000 WSOP Main Event and $30,000 WSOP Europe. What does this mean? It means that the Poker Island winner gets to play all four of those tournaments for FREE over the next year, taking a shot at the massive prizepools generated by each tournament. Each tournament easily generates a seven figure first place prize, sometimes with even second and third places being millions of dollars as well. 2. How do I get onto the Island to win this incredible prize package?

As the TightPoker freeroll winner, you'll actually be getting to Poker Island after it has already "started." The way it works is there's a five person poker tournament every week called the "Weekly Final."" The winner of the Weekly Final is entered into the final Poker Island tournament where 14 previous winners will battle it out at the tables for the $100,000 prize package. The first two players to lose in the Weekly Final go home and are replaced by two other online qualifiers. If you finish second or third, you get another shot to win the following week.

4. Where is Poker Island?

Poker Island is being held on the beautiful island of Ibiza, which is located around 50 mi or 80 km off the coast of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. The island is part of an autonomous community of Spain which has its capital on the island of Mallorca.

5. How many people are going to be in the freeroll?

We're not sure. This Poker Island Seat + $5000 added freeroll is a tournament that is exclusive to selected new sign-ups over the course of the next month (until August 26th). The freeroll is not open to anyone who would like to join. I would guess that anywhere from 75 to 125 players will be in the freeroll, but I could be way off. It depends how many people sign up!
