Yuvee04 sets record for two FTOPS events won in one night

Yuval Bronshtein – known online as Yuvee04 – may have just set an unbeatable record in online poker by besting almost 400 players to win two Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) events on the same night.
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, the 24-year-old Bronshtein already has a reputation as a mixed-games player, and he is also recognized as an excellent Razz and Stud player – forum comments about him make statements like this: “I played with him in the razz event at the WSOP this year. He is probably the best razz player I’ve ever played with. He frequents the high limit razz games and has a hard time getting action.”
Yuvee04 took down Events 14 and 15 of the FTOPS on August 12; Event 14 – $535 HORSE – was well within his field of expertise, while Event 15 was more of a stretch as a $216 turbo No Limit Hold’em tournament.
Event 14 had 655 entrants for a prize pool of $350,425; $70,412 of those went to Yuvee04. Runner-up spadez67 got to take $48,470; the rest of the final table included HTBJabroni64 in third place, NiceJB in fourth and MoormanI in fifth.
Starting at the same time as the HORSE was Event 15, $216 NL Hold’em, with a significantly larger field of 2,472 players and a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. Bronshtein played his way into a $101,975 first prize, while runner-up ANIMAL5050 got only $66,000. The rest of the final table included DHM0219 (who won $49,000), xRIPCURLx (fourth place and $37,000), 20542 (fifth and $26,000), newhizzle ($17,000), gambeta_perrins ($11,500), DammaD ($8,000), and vm1124 (ninth place and $6,000).
Bronshtein blazed through Event 15 and then tackled the deep end of Event 14, leaving a trail of forum comments from awed players, which started along the lines of, “He ships the turbo200 FTOPS 15 and is 1/3 in the horse FTOPS 14? He already had a jersey coming into the day so if he wins that will make it 3 FTOPS wins? That is unrivaled if I’m not mistaken, who is this guy?” The comments soon changed to “He is about to take down his second FTOPS of the day!” and eventually turned into a barrage of admiration and congratulations: “He just did it. 2 FTOPS in 1 day!” and “This has to go down as one of the single best days any player has ever had playing online poker for a single day.” Forums also featured pictures of Bronshtein and comments about his very attractive girlfriend.
Yuvee04 already had an FTOPS jersey to his name, from the FTOPS VI $109 Stud Hi-Lo. Next on his sights is a WSOP bracelet, which is probably not far off.
