The WSOP always starts a frenzy of promos among poker sites, and the WSOPE is not different in this respect. But the official sponsor, Betfair, has upped the ante in a rather spectacular way by offering a chance to win a Threedom Pass: free entry into the WSOP Europe Main Event for three years!

The Threedom pass has been a Betfair feature for some time: whenever a player qualifies for an offline tourney through Betfair and gets into the final table, Betfair will send them back for the following three years. Ben Fried, Betfair’s Head of Poker, said:“The Threedom Pass has been a part of our live tournament offering for two years now but this is the most valuable yet.”

Making this year’s WSOPE Main Event final table will not be easy, with many pros like Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson and Phil Ivey already registered. But the rewards are stunning: the WSOPE Threedom pass will have a value of $69,000: three $20,000 buy-ins plus $9,000 in travel expenses!
 
Ty Stewart, Director of Marketing, Sponsorship and Licensing for Harrah’s Entertainment showed his support for the Threedom Pass: “with all the legends of poker who have committed to this event, making the first-ever WSOP Europe final table will be a significant accomplishment. We applaud Betfair for creating additional excitement and value for players.''

Betting experts have already been calculating odds around this most generous promotion: the Main Event is expected to have around 700 players, over 125 of which should come from Betfair’s qualifiers or direct buy-ins. Based on this, the company expects to give out at least one Threedom pass.

Betfair’s Fried added, “We are all very excited about this event, the first bracelet event ever to take place outside Las Vegas. Team Betfair will have a strong presence and we want to make sure that our players are looked after in the famous Betfair tradition. The Threedom pass is there because we are committed to supporting our very best players.”
